If true, hopefully we are getting Diallo now also. If Jordan and CO stay with Diallo and if Sampson comes we can be an NCAA team next year. I know this hire is not about next year but we can still be very good if all falls into place.
 
I expected this but glad to see it confirmed. Welcome home Matt.

Not sure we will hear about other assistants right away but would not be surprised if we hear about a new Director of Basketball Operations soon.
 
Very difficult job ahead. Basically the point man to recruit two classes in a matter of weeks/months.

Makes what Lavin and Chiles did in the first few months look like a cake walk.

The Mickey Mouse Days of SJU Basketball are hsitory - Chris will run this like a professional organization and all we have to look forward to are great things for SJU.

i feel good about Diallo since Matt has actively recruited him for Iowa State and the relationship is already established.

Their fans on their board are hoping he comes here now so he doesnt wind up at Kansas
