Haven’t seen a player of this caliber and size on a St. John’s team since Shelton Jones. Melek Sealy was good to but not as explosive.

Yes a different player which confirms my post. Hopkins’s stronger and finishes at the basket explosively because of his size. That was my point.

Big time get. Watching highlights from his sophomore year. Looks like a bigger, stronger version of RJ. Maybe not quite as quick but very comparable. If he can work on the 3 point shot to get to 35% or so I think his production will be enough to fill that big void.

Don’t follow NBA draft boards so I have no idea , if he is or isn’t ??

He will be 23 in September . His injuries cost him 2 Seasons .

2nd rounder to undrafted at this point. Injuries for sure. Undersized PF. Would have a hard time against PF’s in the league, and couldn’t guard the SF. Decent athleticism
acccording to some. Average to others. Good scorer, but closer to the basket. Good 3pt% in college (depending on the year), but not many are overly impressed with him as a shooter

I really don’t remember. Just know he’s not a standout and physically he’s nothing like Scott. He reminds me of a 3/4 Syracuse would always have that didn’t need to have a position because they were big enough to handle the bottom wing of the 2-3. I don’t think some zone next year is beneath Pitino.
