Forget the final score.................. today St. John's discovered a pt. guard who will only get better as the year goes along.

We will make our mark in the Big East. Not since Omar Cook and Erik Barkley could we say this.

WE ARE ST. JOHNS

He is talking about Jordan. This was the first game where he really looked comfortable and was given a chance to play. He has a bright future but really needs more experience before he is comfortable leading the team. I hope he surprises me and does it sooner than I expect.

I was on the Jordan bandwagon last year ( too early ) and I'm on this year. Kid has big potential

Great to see the penetration. We're a dangerous team when we do that; a middle-of-the-pack team when we stay on the perimeter, running down the shot-clock and taking outside shots. (Would be more dangerous if CO was an offensive weapon.)

For the record, I'm still a fan of Jamal Branch. Am hoping he'll pick up with the penetration as well.

I'm with you and MJM on this one. Branch was really good again today and I would have liked to see him play more. I would really like to see either Branch or Jordan on the court at all times, as the offense just runs much better with them in there. Greene at point doesn't work and I was glad to see him sit in the 2nd half. I still see the value of his game, but it's clearly off the ball as a backup to D'Lo.

My biggest take-away from this game was this kid's performance. We will go as far as he takes us. He was getting in the lane at will and he drew contact every.single.time. He started the game timid and unsure. Nobody on this team can do what he does.

No, I was running behind. I had to DVR the game and I was tempted to check my phone the entire time to see the final score.

ahh too bad. we had a little post game thing here. finally got to meet golden leaf. great guy

CO is a offensive liability. When he is playing it is like we have 4 players on offense! Sometimes I question whether he should be in the lineup!

Come on, let's not get carried away. He anchors of our defense. His defensive presence is huge!

I think we have 2 damn good point guards.

I'm done with Branch. Time to live and die with Jordan.

I love Jordan, but what in the last few games have made you say your done with branch? Hes the best passer we got and he can penetrate and draw contact.

I expected him to have a much better season. He has no aggression and we desperately need his skillset. Jordan penetrated more in one game that Branch has all season. Jordan needs to start and he needs 25-30 mpg from here on out to get him to the point where he expects to get in the lane every possession. Branch is a fine backup and he'll see more burn when coach presses more--which I cannot believe he didn't do more of tonight. We forced two turnovers in a row when pressure was first applied and Ennis was struggling to get the ball up court against the bigger more athletic Jordan.
