Love the kids. Can’t say a bad word about any of them. Wish they had more coaching or bench help ( take it for what that it is but bench production indisputable ) we might back in. I hope we do but we don’t deserve it. No participation trophies

Thank god Joe Lunardi, Jerry Palm and the number one and most accurate bracketologist Bracketville bracketology disagrees with you.

See you guys on selection Sunday.

In a normal college basketball season we wouldn’t make it.

But there’s teams like a 16-15 Texas squad that is in most brackets.

We deserve to be in over a lot of these other bubble teams. We actually have quad 1 wins. We are en extremely flawed team but we deserve to be in this season

Good kids but this team does not deserve a bid. Way too many games that this team just did not show up.
No one should complain as we have given the committee every opportunity/reason to exclude us.

This thread is ridiculous. It's not the players fault that they were short handed and had to log tons of minutes this year. This group still won 21 games with no inside presence whatsoever.

I'll certainly take a bid (and, hopefully we still get one). But I understand your point. I guess it's the "old-skool" in you. I recall our 1986-1987 team being flawed, and they were still a 6th seed.

It might be the Pale Ale's talking. Haha! You may have a change of thought on Sunday. It's all good, nonetheless.

The players should take some of blame. They failed to execute. During a TO in 1st half the camera zoomed in huddle and Millin said keep attacking the hoop. Guess he really meant keep throwing up 3s. Even if we somehow get a bid, we will be a one and done.

Whether we "deserve" a bid or not is certainly up for debate. What I hope we can all agree on is that if we DO get in, we will all support our team as hard as we can and give them everything we got as a fan base.

Mike, there's at least 8 teams in Lunardi's bracket that don't deserve a bid for their level of play (and I include STJ in that), but you got to put 68 teams in. Look at who else is on the bubble. Almost every other 11 and 12 seed besides Temple lost soundly to better teams or closely to worse teams in their conference tourney already and I expect Texas, Florida and Ohio State to follow suit tonight and tomorrow. Not enough teams to jump them and Alabama is the only one of the last 8 out who's even still playing. To be honest I'd respect the committee if the put Belmont, Lipscomb and UNCG in the tourney over the mediocre big 7 teams that are on the bubble, but they won't. It's honestly been a bad year for college hoops all around. Except Zion of course. He's a god. Puke.

The only way STJ doesn't get a bid if is bama, gtown, someone other that Washington, West Virginia and a bottom 8 team in the B10 ALL win their conference tourney.

This was one awful game. We've earned a bid.
You have to understand 68 teams have to make it.
I do. I stand by my opinion
Then it will be really odd to see us in the Round of 32 :)
Dude I love your predictions and you know I defend them and I give you full credit for balls out on a limb but ........balls are getting chopped now. I’ll stsrt a total apaology thread if we win a game. Today was ridiculous but like we have all talked about before 3 wins is tough

I’m not even going to watch selection Sunday but if we get in I’ll be rooting like it’s the first gane of the season but .......

Looking at SJU's accomplishments you can say they don't deserve a bid but when you compare their record to the other buble teams they do belong. This year has one of the least talented group of bubble teams ever.
They could end up beating a six seed but following that you got a better chance of winning the lottery then they have of winning two in a row. At the first sign of adversity in the second half of a game following a win they pack it in. They have been doing this almost every time since the big east season started.
