That is my thinking, as well, Tex. More than 2 NCAA Tournament wins will be gravy.
 
To me the BET is utterly unimportant. I want the staff to do whatever gets the team most ready for the dance. If that means D'lo sits to heal, fine. Whatever it takes. Get to the dance as healthy and rested as possible.
 
Why leave anything to chance? How about we do what is expected and beat an outmanned Marquette. Play tough at Nova and play like the Big East Tournament is worth playing in. Then we can worry about an NCAA appearance and all that. This team is always day to day. They are capable of winning or losing almost any game so hopefully they stay focused on the NEXT game.

8/9 seed winner plays a #1 seed in second round.
As my friend said, being a #7 seed or #10 seed is better.

I could see a 7 seed coming out of that scenario. I prefer to win the Big East Tournament and end up being a 5 or 6 seed. :)
