Do you guys really think Refs are in cahoots with gamblers? Is the NCAA in on it too or are the Refs just doing it on their own?
 
We are the only team in the country that would consistently play walk-ons. I just don't get it!!!!!!!

It just adds to the list of excuses.....from the youngest team in the galaxy to now having no depth so we had to play walk ons. At least we are consistent , the defense looks like Swiss cheese and the offense, 11 points in 15 minutes, is non existent.
 
Playing well defensively. UVA has had a few deflections go their way. Nothing new offensively. We just can't shot

This team CANNOT shoot.

From the PG to the SG to the SF.

You need to be able to shoot the ball from outside to win.
 
This is the one of the weirdest teams I have ever seen, certainly the weirdest I have rooted for in over 50 years of watching basketball. I would have trouble naming one thing we do well yet if you look at our record, it says we are a decent team. Just looked up from the computer to see Garrett bowl over a UVA player instead of dumping to Obekpa for a dunk, typical. Frankly, I am looking forward to the end of the season, I find this a difficult team to watch and an impossible team to figure out exactly what the coaches are doing or expect. I realize it takes time to build a program but this "product" just leaves me scratching my head right now. Maybe we are one leader, one point guard, one shooter, away from turning it around but I don't think so.
 
Second lowest points scored in the season for a team headed in the right direction? Did Borgault even take a shot in the first half? In terms of Garrett, if he plays to his strengths which are only occasional offensive boards, he would contribute. And how dumb was Pointers foul at half court to give him 3 with 1:22 to go in the half, Uggg?

With the continued lack of fundimentals and general court sense on the part of our players, one as to wonder if these kids are just not capeable of "getting it", or if they are just not being taught anything. Anyone who is still riding the young team mantra is delusional.

To win this game, we are going to have to put on a shooting exhibition which I'm not sure if the team has in them.
 
Greene had .Marco open for three just refuses to pass the ball As I said sit Garrett down Every have some game is the same story Gets old. .Guess .will he .hear. . th.at Va played great and we are young At. some point we have to point.to. the staffs recruiting.Players who just can not shoot Branch is not the answer Greene is at best a 6 .7th player off the bench Looks like a blow out unless a we come to live If we do not get shooters next yr could be like this yr Pissed off
 
looks like interest is way down. Early game no one posting. fans ready to call it a season. Second half will
tell us how the team feels.

I wish I knew the answer to exactly how it works, I could make some money off of it. Would I totally dismiss the possibility that the NCAA is somehow involved, of course not, the NCAA is a corrupt organization, that is a fact. What is also a fact, even though most people just think it is a conspiracy theory when people mention that games are fixed, is that it is very prevalent. Tim Donaghy, Auburn basketball, Tulane basketball, San Diego basketball, BC basketball, ASU basketball, Northwestern basketball, Toledo football and basketball, hundreds of soccer games. Those are just some of the people/schools that got caught. Do you really believe that is the only times that games were tainted? I wish that were the case, but I choose to not be blind to what the likely reality is.
 
pointer's third foul seemed to be an emotional reflection of frustration with the overall game.
sampson's third was the instinctive touch foul that makes you nuts after you do it or see it
Bourgeault managed to hand over 5 points in his first 30 seconds as did Garrett in a few minutes.
Unfortunately, the opportunity to get a cushion in thei first eight or so minutes were wasted when Va shot slightly worse than we did.
I don't have much hope but we'll see if we can make it a game early in the second half with the "starters" back .
 
I .have always been behind Lavin but I am really starting to wonder Even.his recruiting is now starting to be suspect How can you put a class together who can not shoot
 
The more Branch plays PG the more it looks like he is not the answer to woes. I think Lavin realizes it as he plays Greene so much as PG.

Branch is too slow, not a good shooter and does not finish..
