Virginia Game

Will CO learn how to rebound? So far, he hasn't.. No box out ability shown yet.To bad, he's a very raw talent ..hope he improves all other facets of his game, excluding shot blocking.
 
This is the one of the weirdest teams I have ever seen, certainly the weirdest I have rooted for in over 50 years of watching basketball. I would have trouble naming one thing we do well yet if you look at our record, it says we are a decent team. Just looked up from the computer to see Garrett bowl over a UVA player instead of dumping to Obekpa for a dunk, typical. Frankly, I am looking forward to the end of the season, I find this a difficult team to watch and an impossible team to figure out exactly what the coaches are doing or expect. I realize it takes time to build a program but this "product" just leaves me scratching my head right now. Maybe we are one leader, one point guard, one shooter, away from turning it around but I don't think so.

we block shots well and usually dont turn the ball over. But we are incredibly stupid and cant drop the ball in the ocean.
 
The more Branch plays PG the more it looks like he is not the answer to woes. I think Lavin realizes it as he plays Greene so much as PG.

Branch is too slow, not a good shooter and does not finish..

Disagree. I still like Branch although he needs to improve his shot. There are some positives to this team like Obekpa who even as a freshman was the best shot blocker in the country per minute.

The more he plays the more he looks like a good backup. Love the way Greene has been playing. He'd be a good 3rd guard in a 3 guard offense with Harrision and a real PG.
 
WE are suppose to penetrate and.dish have not seen any all game That's coaching .or lack of it Fans have a right to be ticked off .Never thought I would say this but if things do not go great next yr his job should be on the line
Even if they pulled this game out
 
Branch is not our answer! Afraid to drive to the hoop, and we he does he throws up a half assed shot. Since the injury he appears to be very tentative.
 
Why are we even worried about our scholarship situation when walk-ons here get so much PT.

we have 3 guys on scholarships not playing: Sanchez, Dlo and Gift
 
I've read lots of stuff on here about the addition of Sanchez and Hooper next year making this team into a Sweet 16 team. Honestly...I don't see it. There are just way too many holes. Especially in the backcourt, and in the middle.
 
Again Sampson turns it over on a drive when he has Marco open Coach ..if Marco is not going to shoot put someone else in
 
Honestly Lavin should just punch a ref in the face and take a technical because these ref's suck
 
Instead of the post game mantra, "We are the youngest team in America", he needs to say, "We have the lowest collective basketball IQ in America".
