You will have to be there in person if you are truly to have the guarantee fulfilled that there is a spot waiting for you IN Heaven.
 
Last year we lost by 37 to Number 4 Villanova. Can't really see how it would be worse this year. Time will tell but I am sure it will not be as bad as last years beat down on national tv.

Only reason I'm going is to see good friend Still Happy and the 114 guys. I can't guarantee we won't leave early to go to the bar across the street :)

John from Jersey will be making his first appearance in 114 on Saturday. Always adds to the entertainment factor. Also, Nova fans can bring out the best in Ralph.

They want MSG full? OK, but with 80% Villanova fans?

If I was coach, I'd never bring in recruits for this game. How could this showing Sunday help Mullin and staff get key recruits?
It would be one thing if the kids knew the situation that Mullin was left in, but I doubt that teen HS ballers even know about that.
 
What other choice do we have? A beat down with a smaller crowd against Seton Hall or Providence?

C'mon... you don't think Matt and Slice know what they are doing? You don't think they might speak to these kids -selling them on all potential headlines "____ (insert name) resurrected an 0-16 program to BE powerhouse"?

Leave recruiting to the experts- I'm sure there is an agenda behind this move.

Hah - would you have preferred inviting the kids, some Big names, to an 'assured' victory vs. Incarnate Word?
 
Recruits will see the beat down as an opportunity for playing time.

They'll see Mullin's invitation as confidence, no matter how bad the outcome.

They'll see Nova fans at the Garden as reassurance that this is where everyone, including opposing fans, want to be and travel to. Because this is the biggest stage in basketball and we can call it home.
