Overall we are better with him playing 20 minutes.Don't hate this question but was the team better today w/o Ledlum?
Joel might be the only one we are better off with playing much more than 20. I’d personally argue Alleybe as well.

And opponent's context. Kyle Neptune question marks probably responsible for 4 pages. Don't think McDermott gets half of the conversation in the Creighton thread. The time between games is a big factor.
And so everyone knows the Legend of Sir Eric “ The page counter “ is real here was our texts this morning pre game before we turned the convo to porn and gambling and Jennifer AnnistonSir Eric " The Page Counter " legit told Monte and me before the game that this thread would hit 70 pages. It's a long way to go but he's going to be right again
Oh I’ll adjust numbers accordingly based on opponent and when the thread starts. And opponent's context. Kyle Neptune question marks probably responsible for 4 pages. Don't think McDermott gets half of the conversation in the Creighton thread.
Other than Jenkins and Joel, have a feeling its going to be mix and match going forward based on who we're playing.Overall we are better with him playing 20 minutes.

agree on Alleyne, so good on defense, hits the big shot and most importantly the most mature player on the team. Feel confident when he is on the court.Overall we are better with him playing 20 minutes.

Jenkins had 18 points on 17 shots today. 7 shots more than anyone else on the team. He must think he is Isiah Thomas quality point guard. Well he isn't. Jenkins has indeed played better the past few games, but he is selfish, misses the open man more than he finds him, dribbles too much and shoots too much, especially from 3. There is too much talent on this team for Jenkins to possess the ball as much as he does. He will kill us in a big spot before this year is over.Let me in on what Johnnies defender doesn’t go for fakes? For that matter, pretty much any player on any team? One of the reasons (other than having kids and needing to seriously kick up the $) I got out of coaching was my frustration in trying to teach kids you do not defend the ball, you defend the man.
Rarely do I watch a game anymore where I see less than 7 or 8 examples of a player playing textbook defense, forcing an extremely low % shot, only to see the offense bailed out by trying to slap steal the ball or block the shot. I could have put my fist through the TV watching Jenkins fouling while trying to block Dixon’s 3 pointer up double digits with 2 minutes or so left. But we could write a book on the dumb plays down the stretch.
BUTTTTT, big, big win and move on!!!!
Jenkins had 18pts, 3 Rebounds, 5 Assists and 3 steals. A good all around game. Yes, he had 3 turnovers but he hit some big shots in big spots. Him and Soriano are irreplaceable. We absolutely win without him today Soriano was unstoppable and everyone looked like the PG Jason Williams feeding him the ball today.
You don’t think we could come up with with 17 pts from his 17 shots and 3 turnovers?
If I was going to put $ on anyone to bring my post game buzz down this was an easy callJenkins had 18 points on 17 shots today. 7 shots more than anyone else on the team. By the way Dunlap had 15 points on 8 shots. Jenkins missed him about 3 times open cutting to the basket. A good point guard would have delivered those passes.
Agree. We ride with Jenkins. He's our guy for our teamNot singling any individual out, but the nitpicking on Jenkins has gone beyond ridiculous. We get a wire to wire win at Villanova with Jenkins hitting clutch buckets during the Cats attempted comeback. He is a lead guard more than a point guard. Accept it. We have been mediocre for so long but try to enjoy the ride we are on with Pitino. It won’t last forever.
I don’t mind the turnovers. I mind the bad shots. Just because you hit a bad shot doesn’t mean it wasn’t a bad shot. He took (and made) a step back 3 when he was 1-4 from 3…24.6% on the year. That’s just stupid. He didn’t even look for anyone either.Jenkins had 18pts, 3 Rebounds, 5 Assists and 3 steals. A good all around game. And he does bring a lot of good stuff to table, leadership, winning attitude, key drives to the basket and seems to make clutch shots. I’ll keep him.Not singling any individual out, but the nitpicking on Jenkins has gone beyond ridiculous. Read espkens post. There really is no need to harp on some of his missed shots. Does he take more than he should? Of course. But he’s a very good player for us overall. And coach loves him.I don’t mind the turnovers. I mind the bad shots. Just because you hit a bad shot doesn’t mean it wasn’t a bad shot. Joel was eating Dixon alive and he got 9 shots.
Neither will Jenkins, thank God. You can call him a point guard or a lead guard. What does that matter. I call him a ball hog, who takes way too many shots for someone who misses so many of them. Not singling any individual out, but the nitpicking on Jenkins has gone beyond ridiculous. For the record, I love Luis's po, but want to see him make better better decisions and be more consistent before jumping on the "he's a sure fire lottery pick" bandwagonThis apology will help you shake the “rust” off for your eventual Luis apology.
