My last words tonight on this game is that this loss was inexcusable. Nova did nothing on its own to make us self destruct. We did that on our own, as usual. There's no way we should've been swept by nova this year. But I guess all roads to success in the big east still go through nova.

I'm sure I'll cool down soon, but right now I'm ready to hit the eject button on both Posh and Curbelo and tell Jayden Reid from LuHi he can have the gig for a year. Don't even care how many mistakes he'd make as long as they were garden-variety low-ranked frosh ones and not mind-numbingly stupid ones.
Just saying Posh has been off all year. Not sure if it’s the pressure of being preseason all-big East first team or playing with Curbelo. But even when Curbelo is not on the floor he still has been very shaky. He plays more off the ball with Wusu at the point.

Anderson was absolutely horrible.
[1] Was he the only one watching who didn't see how horrible David Jones is? Does Jones purposely try to lose?
[2] Why was Curbelo handed the PG keys? What the hell happened there?

If that doesn’t show how clueless the coaching staff is what does? Outside of Soriano, what players in this team have improved? Most are on a downward slope.
Kind of shocking that preseason this backcourt was considered one of the best nationally. Meanwhile, it's been the downfall. Can't shoot, chuck up wild layups at will. It's bad.
Wrong. Any road to success for us goes through Iona.
Here's a thought: how about CMA plays Posh like he did during his freshman and sophomore years when he was, you know, good?

It was a tease Mike. This was the real Johnny team. Off to Creighton.
I was at a sports bar with friends. Having dinner. Game was on in the background.
From what I saw this was maybe the worst played game I have seen in ten years. Fucking Curbelo stinks. Jones sucks balls. Posh is a master brick layer outside of five feet. Just eating up minutes with negative production.
This loss was so deflating it makes me drift away from the team.
I am so angry at this putrid performance.
And the icing on the cake? "Let's Go Nova!" as our fans are walking out of the world most famous arena...

You can complain all you want to about Curbelo and I agree with everyone’s sentiment but if he quit the team tomorrow we still are a bad team and that’s what sucks. We will win some more games this year but it will be another meaningless season. CMA said he had the talent this year but I disagree. The only player who has impressed me consistently is Soriano and he can’t do it by himself. Watching us play Villanova feels like Groundhogs Day. Just disappointed.
