last year we lost both games to Nova in pretty close games but lost. They will pound us down low with Pinkston & Ochefu and expect a good game from Hilliard (he'll shoot well against us because of his size advantage and good looks and reach he'll get against our smaller guards). Not a great match up for us. Pointer must hold his own but will likely struggle against bigger and stronger NOVA players, but he must hold his own on the defensive side. Rysheed MUST play at a higher level than he has done thus far in order for us to pull this out and must attack the rim and dish. D lo will do what d lo does and will play his heart out, but we all know it has to be so much more than one player against a top team like Nova. While I am hopeful to win it is going to be a tough matchup for us.

If so, season, in my view, would be a success. And, then maybe we can get a few decent recruits for next year and start the rebuilding process. Next year will likely be a very tough year, but with a few decent recruits give the school, alumni and fan base something to root for.

Would rather face Nova off a win than a loss, but nothing we can do there.

Big key in my view is not panicking in the first 30 minutes rotation-wise. Understand the huge significance of tomorrow's game, but best way to a W not necessarily asking 195+ from our first 6. These kids are clearly in incredible condition, but the tank is going to be closer to empty on the legs than it has been at any point to date this season. Imperative that we be fresh in the last 5 minutes of this one.

Christian Jones and ADR should be able to give us some comfortable minutes up front. With Jordan back, rotating the guards becomes more manageable. Certainly these guys, particularly Dee and Dom, never need to be told to "dig deep", and have shown few if any signs of wearing to date, but there is a limit on how many times you can ask them to go to the well for 40 minutes or close to it, and I worry about it particularly against a better and deeper team like Nova.

A million ways to slice it, but even in a diminished Big East, this schedule is no picnic. Should be a good crowd though

Someone mentioned they have only been selling seats in the bottom level.

There still appears to be plenty of seats available in the 100s. I think the 9 pm Tuesday night game kills any chance we had at having a big crowd.

If the school is going to use blue as its primary jersey color, may as well change the name to "The Blue Man Group."

It isn't offensive, but they will probably have to pay something to the franchise in order to use it.
