Not counting us out against Vandy but they're a good team who's probably going to come in focused after that close call with Stony Brook. If we can keep this within 15 I'll be happy. I think there's an outside chance we pull off the upset but everything has to go right. Which for me means:
- Sima's gonna have to stay out of foul trouble again because if he sits they've got plenty of bigs and guards who get to the basket. He did great with this last night just has to keep it up.
- Shooting. Gotta have a really good game from three point range. They're too big for us. Like most upsets, if we win it'll be from the outside. Mussini, Mvouika, Johnson, Amar...we need a couple of them to have a hot hand.
- Obviously free throws. We won't get a ton of free throws but we have to hit the ones we do get. Last night was rough. We won't get away with that again.
-In addition to two good 7-footers, they start three very solid guards. I'd be surprised if we don't see pressure from them early. Word is out that we have trouble when Mussini gets bottled up. We know we don't have good ball-handlers so they've gotta break the press together as a team. Can't just put our heads down and try to dribble through it or this becomes a blow out.
We've got the shooters and after that win yesterday we know they have heart. You never know!

Yep and I don't know what the plan is but I'd totally understand if they sit him out so as not to take any chances.
I'm not concerned about the next couple of games for him. It's the next 3 years I'm concerned about so if it means getting him some rest even though we are short handed I'm cool with that. Sometimes you can injure yourself more when you are worried about hurting yourself
Love the camaraderie on this team. That scene of celebration after the Rutgers game was great. Especially Mussini jumping up in to Sima's arms and Sima hugging him while Mussini's feet dangles above the floor. You know I have my concerns about AA's talent, but I love his heart and the way he supports his teammates.
