Likely loss against a better team in hostile environment. Creighton is far better than last place Butler. That said, if we don't win, it is essential not to get blown out. Coming home for Marquette on the heels of two well played road games is fine. We have dug our own hole and it will be difficult to dig out of it. Gaining confidence on the road may lead to stealing an away game or two, but doubt this is one. Hope I am wrong.

To add, I wouldn't double McDermott. Whether he is guarded by Sampson or Dom, just let him go one one one. Try to deny as much as possible first. Let him get his 30 points that way, and don't let guys bury open three's or get offensive rebounds because our players were trying to help. Guys like Wragge aren't going to create offense, but they will break your back with a open three if you cheat to help.
I might try Jordan on Wragge, harass him all over the COURT. Make it difficult to get the ball to him in any offensive set.Jordan's quickness could disrupt his shooting .
We need to use our quickness and make the BLUE jAYS play defense.. I'd look to exploit one on one situations, if they present themselves. No doubt, Creighton will zone us and Sanchez in the high post needs to use his inside passing skills and try and play 2 man basketball with Jordan and Branch..
As stated before, Providence created the blueprint to beat CREIGHTON.. Get McDERMOTT in foul trouble early.

You cant be serious. It's a waste of a defender. He only takes three pointers and he's like 6'8. Teams get in trouble giving up offensive rebounds (Creighton takes a ton of threes and therefore has a ton of long rebounds) or helping on McDermott, allowing Wragge to get space. He's like Steve Novak. Sanchez could even guard Wragge...the key is to stay disciplined.
Creighton has a couple of other guys that can create other than McDermott, namely Chatman and Gibbs, that Jordan will have his hands full defending.
I just figured he'd be back like everyone else against us. I've been high on Brooks all year. What a great JUCO pickup by Coach McDermott in the offseason.I might try Jordan on Wragge, harass him all over the COURT. Gibbs out. Devin Brooks, St. Ray's kid is playing well.
