I have been quite the grinch recently but they look pretty good today. With that said this butler team is mid-major quality at best. Would like to see them play week against creighton and then I will believe a turn around is under way.

Me. If they win 3 be games in a row and beat creighton it would be the start of a turnaround. But this game could be false hope because butler isn't a top ldvel team.
 
I'm hoping Lavin realizes we need to be a 7-8 man rotation. He seems to be understanding that. Play your best guys and give yourself a chance to win. Today is a good example of that.

We have played well today....it will be interesting to see how that affects Phil's role when he is back....
 
I spoke too soon. He goes to hooper and obekpa and the leads shrinks. Hooper was beat easy there.
 
One thing we really need to work on on defense is when to go for blocks.
It seems like very possession we let a man blow by us and try to go for the fashionable block.
 
These are the wasted timeouts that I don't like.

I understand trying to settle them down and quiet the crowd but the U8 is 35 seconds away.
 
Harrison's shots look off, as soon as the ball leaves his hands.

We're gonna need him down the stretch of this one.
 
Thankfully Lavin saw the error of his ways and put hooper and Chris back on te bench.
