What about when their fans are standing up directly in front of you blocking your view lolI don't mind it. Just score a ton and don't let them score and make them stand as long as possible
If it was St Johns and we had a tradition like that including road games I'd be all for standing. Less painful than sitting in Carnesseca anyway
I'm 6ft 4 that doesn't happenWhat about when their fans are standing up directly in front of you blocking your view lol
Such an elitist responseI'm 6ft 4 that doesn't happen
Did you mean elongated response?Such an elitist response
If the ball goes into the stands, the fans do not have to defer to the fielder, the ball is up for grabs before it's caught. I've seen fans slap players' gloves. Perfectly legal. I think that's what these two mooks were referring to.Everything has already been said about these two guys, but the thing I can’t wrap around my head is that they thought they were allowed to this and were apparently waiting to do it. I’m paraphrasing, but the one guy said they “patrol our corner.”
Um…wut?
Home court indeed. Ernie Grunfeld picked up two fouls in the first few minutes. King had the quickest release of a shot I've seen.I was at that game, December 75 I think, sophomore year. Tennessee was ranked 3rd or 4th. Still the best on campus game I have seen. Talk about home court advantage, electric. George Johnson was the man !
If I recall correctly (I was there, but 9 yrs old) Beaver Smith blocked two of Grunfeld's shots as well.Home court indeed. Ernie Grunfeld picked up two fouls in the first few minutes. King had the quickest release of a shot I've seen.
Remember reading that days newspaper where writer says the ball is in the basket before the defender can react on a Bernard King. Said to myself yeah right. Damned if ball wasn’t settling into the net on a King baseline jumper before our defender could even get a hand up.Home court indeed. Ernie Grunfeld picked up two fouls in the first few minutes. King had the quickest release of a shot I've seen.
