UCLA GAME

Good win by this short-handed bunch. UCLA failed to use their size mis-matches well. Harrison and Greene in particular played very well. These guys are basketball players, not just guys that look good in the uniform. With a decent recruiting class, and added depth and size, there is no reason to believe that the rebuild is not on track. Nice to see Coach's interview and his statement that he is on track to be back next year, and that he is looking for another great class to compliment these kids.

Considering that Mo had a below par shooting game, for him, it was very nice to get such a pick up from Pointer and the others. Harrison's first half was filled with highlights. They really out-hustled the bruins from the opening tip through Green's final tip (in).

Phew! Another cardiac finish, but this time in our favor. Feel so good for our kids. They really played their butts off, and it would have been disheartening not to come away with the win. Good to see those smiles. (I'm wearing a big one myself right now.)

I have never seen them this agressive and active this year. A great rebounding game including offensive boards where they usually are weak.

EXHILARATING WIN --- boy did we needed that.

Amir & Garret have improved by leaps & bounds

GO REDMEN

I guess you are as giddy as I am or drunk because I think you meant to say Amir and Sir Dom.
Big, big win.

First time I saw Jamal Branch smile all year -- after the Harkless pass to Greene for the layup

Jamal will have a lot to smile about next season and thereafter.

ok dodged that mental lapse we got this now great effort by these kids good win
Great win. Snaps a 4 game losing streak, and gave the fans who went a wonderful college hoops game. Nice to see that the loses have not worn the kids down. They can be proud of that win, and no doubt all on this board are happy for them.

You can credit that to the match--up zone defense -- it's designed to eliminate the entry pass and to make the other team take contested jump shots.

Nice W. We needed it. Great team effort. FTs won the game. Entertaining game on national TV. Hopefully we ll grab 2 more quality bigs and next year will have a top 25 team and the year after, watch out. Dom and Amir stepped up offensively.

Real nice win and Lavin's words during the game were encouraging. What a turn around for Josh Smith. He was a killer
last year but now seems lost. Must be in Howland's dog house.

Great win. Really happy for the players and staff, and of course us, the fans, as well,
They played with "pluck" I believe Lavin said. Great effort win with some really nice highlight plays.

A great win....our kids just keep coming at you...They just don't quit.

That kid is one cheeseburger away from losing his scholarship. He has some skills on the court, but is so out of shape that he can't stay on the court for more than 4-5 minutes at a time.
BTW....if you think that our posters are tough, check out one of the UCLA fan boards!

I must say that this group of guys have been my favorite to watch since I started going to games in the early 90's...have I loved individual players since then, perhaps....however this team together are fantastic to watch whether it's a win or loss because I can't even imagine how hard it is on them day in and day out to play with 6 players, all new to D1 hoops...i love these guys and am excited for the last handful of games this year...and years to come...great win today boys!
