I watched the first season of Ozark. ( I guess nobody got my earlier Ned Beatty reference) But I'd say it is pretty well done and worthy of a watch. If you are into crime running in the family series, there is a pretty good one on TNT with sexy grandma Ellen Barkin called Animal Kingdom.
Nathalie and I love the hound too. He has the funniest lines. We also like the orange hair wilding guy Tormund. Him talking about Brienne of Tarth last night to the Hound was classic.
But that moment at the end when the hound was about to leave on the boat and him and Tormund just looked at each other and nodded and you could feel the respect that was great. We were freaking out when we thought Tormund was about to go down in the fight
Can't remember the last show where I yelled so much at the TV aside from sports.. or in this case, my computer in my hotel room. I was screaming for him to FIGHT. Not quite as loud as when they stabbed Jon Snow but still.. there's going to be a big void in viewing pleasure after next Sunday. Guessing probably another year before the next season.
I'm watching it. I think it is at least partly to do with how they write the character. He comes across as a whiny, kid who can't control his impulses. He's annoying. This comes to a head in a later episode and I won't spoil it for you. He's also the weakest character but they've set him up as the center of the conflict. His power is anti-climactic for the most part especially since he barely uses it and then he has to struggle to recharge it. But they have hinted that it could be more.
BTW Paul I think it was you who gave a list of superhero marvel or whatever shows to watch. Are they all available on netflix streaming and if so which order should I binge watch ?
Also anyone have any other binge shows ? We are going to start gommorah soon then animal kingdom. Finishing outllander but Nat likes that a lot more than I do

The 5 Marvel series on Netflix
1) Daredevil
2) Jessica Jones
3) Luke Cage
4) Iron Fist
5) Defenders
The 5th one brings all the heroes from the first 4 together. I'd watch them in that order but especially Jessica Jones before Luke Cage since he gets introduced there. The Punisher also gets introduced in Daredevil and has a pretty big role in season 2.
I like the individual shows better than Defenders but Iron Fist got a lot of negative feedback. I didn't hate it but think it is the weakest of the 4. I thought Jessica Jones was the best of the 5 but Luke Cage is pretty cool too.
