As expected;
St. John's guard Bryant Trimble has entered his name into the transfer portal, a source tells @Rivals. Sit one, play two

Good luck to a player who worked hard defensively often guarding guys much bigger than him.

i wonder if at the right level, with a little more time to shoot, if he will be a more productive offensive player. Hope this works for him.

For someone who was in a meltdown a few days ago I certainly got a few things right....:)

75 of the 79 shots he took this year were from 3 point. Incomplete player. With his frame he didn't get to the hole.

lower level D-1 or D-2. It blows my mind that players would transfer knowing that either Hurley, Pitino, or Cluess......all huge upgrades in coaching could come in. The ONLY player that this makes sense for is Trimble and thats because he was a Mully favorite and wouldn't see the court by any of the above mentioned. Not a dig just the truth. Good luck at Mizz St

Trimble played out of position all season and always gave it his best effort
To have to guard and rebound against much bigger guys is not what he expected to do
But he did his best, did pretty well and filled a real need for us
I'm sure he hopes to be a shooting guard again at his next stop
Thanks for everything, Bryan, and best of luck in the future

Bryan good luck in pursuing your dream, always felt comfortable that you'd hold the fort and not hurt us when you were put in the game. Represented the school well and did his best to get in better shape during last offseason. I always felt he was getting close to having the confidence to make a few moves to the basket with the ball, maybe at his next stop.

Agreed, all you had to do to notice his work ethic was to see his body transformation from year 1 to year 2.
Classy young man. Wish him the best.
Very classy initial note to the St. John's community that I missed when initially posted.
Wonder where he's going...
I think he'll do well in mid-major competition and wish him great success as a player and as a man.

Trimble was solid for us when we desperately needed bodies on the defensive end. He received more than his fair share of criticism, yet swallowed it all and played hard.

Good luck to this very tough young man.
