The only times I remember Posh not playing was when he was injured.Off the top of my head, it may have been more than once over his career. CMA kept a lot of stuff quiet, except when it was too ridiculous a spectacle to conceal.

No you stop as you have a problem with reading comprehension and/or interpretation. Me saying the roster was good enough to have gone dancing does not mean I am against an overhaul. Both can be true as can the Yankees were good enough to make the playoffs every year but need numerous changes to get to the top.Dude? I made a statement. You responded with lecture because you said you disagree. Disagreed about what exactly?
You said about our roster "Many felt it was good enough to be competitive in the BE and go dancing. It was."
By your own words, not my assumption, you and a handful of people said what you said above.
Does that suggest supporting a roster overhaul?
STOP!
RedmanNorth questioned "my values" for suggesting some players would likely have to move on as scholarships are on a year-to-year basis and, as has been made obvious, the players seeking new opportunities has eclipsed 700 as of today. There are hundreds of players that do not share yours, and Ghostbusters, melancholy or loyalty to Alma Mater.
You want to shuck and jive to your preferred conclusion? Be my guest.
We all got the coach we coveted. I trust we haven't questioned his "values" for being brutally honest about our players.
This is a multi-million dollar business and hard decisions had to be made.
Ergo, the team was not good enough to go "dancing"...anywhere, not even the NIT.
Done dealClayton would be a big pickup for us. Instant shooting and size. Good passer too.
Huh?Have at it Eric. BTW, how's your golf game?
It wasn't lobster rolls that's for sureGents, please stop the argument. I don't want to know what started it, but please. Thanks.
100% SJU85, that kind of bullshit, masquerading as anything but what it is, drives me nuts.No you stop as you have a problem with reading comprehension and/or interpretation. Your blinders of trying to start something and appear superior makes you not even recognize I was posting for Anderson’s firing and hiring of Pitino at the end of this season earlier this year and even had me posting about thinking long and hard about renewing my season tickets.
if you have a problem with other posters, then take it up with them and not lump it all in a reply to me. I have no problem with the portal (again read my post on the portal)
LASTLY, I DON’T APPRECIATE THE “SHUCK AND JIVE” comment and its connotations That is crossing the line!
I responded the last time before seeing this. Apologies.Gents, please stop the argument. I don't want to know what started it, but please. Thanks.
Sorry Jack. It's been a long, but great day.Huh?
he's coming?Done deal
This is definitely off topic and I’m sorry to mods in advance. But I went back to find that post that one dude did about you, the one where he called you elitist. It wasn't lobster rolls that's for sure
Haaa yeah the one from Al B. Calling me an Elitist probably one of my favorite knocks against me ever on hereThis is definitely off topic and I’m sorry to mods in advance. But I went back to find that post that one dude did about you, the one where he called you elitist.
And I was sad to find that it’s deleted.
I was gonna keep it tucked away so I could copy and paste it as a joke in case we are ever disagreeing about something in the future.
Would’ve been hilarious but alas
No problemo.I responded the last time before seeing this. Apologies.
Clayton had a great 1st half and Iona led Uconn.I watched Clayton Jr against UCONN and definitely like Posh better. Since we all trust Pitino, I suggest that we sit back, let him do his job, and enjoy the ride.
But you still have that lifetime supply of Shafer's in your basement eh?Haaa yeah the one from Al B. Calling me an Elitist probably one of my favorite knocks against me ever on here
But him saying I drink crappy beer well that's just unforgivable
I worked at dairy barn in high school and college I never had to drink cheap beer. I'm an elitistBut you still have that lifetime supply of Shafer's in your basement eh?
He was actually the first coach who took full advantage of the three point shot when it was first introduced to college basketball in '86-'87.Pitino has always been a proponent of the three point shot and if one player shoots 43 from three and the other shoots around 15 it will be awfully hard for the 15 per center to win out.
Schaefer is the one beer to have when you're having more than one!But you still have that lifetime supply of Shafer's in your basement eh?
Fair points made.Clayton had a great 1st half and Iona led Uconn.
Uconn did a good job of denying him the ball in the 2nd half.
The difference in that game was not the guards, as Clayton held his own with 15 points and 4 assists, but the reality that Iona could not handle Sanogo who dominated inside. Uconn was too big and talented up front.
Imo, Walter plays a more complete all around game. He is a 3 point threat....Posh not. He also turns the ball over a lot less than Posh and is the better athlete.
I'm not convinced Clayton comes with Pitino and think Florida is a good option for this kid from central Florida.
How did I get thrown into this debate? Lol. That’s Jack.Have at it Eric. BTW, how's your golf game?
Listen Delaware, if that’s even your real name. Part of being a fan is knowing every time we drink a Coke we donate money to St. John’s NIL via Repole’s purse. That donation give us the right to demand the transfer we want!So much energy and discussion on a subject RP is not going to seek our input.
