smart money is on the team to look significantly different next season. If some of these rumors going around end up happening look out

Like I said previously we need to elevate our expectations. It’s tough after decades of mediocrity but nobody should be surprised at what’s “cooking”

The only way that I see Posh and Curbelo working is as part of a 3 man rotation, where they are rarely on the court together. And even at that, I still think that they have too many of the same strengths and weaknesses. Plus having 2 very small, non shooting guards, logging a lot of minutes doesn't really make sense. IMO Curbelo will be gone and Rick will bring in another guard who can better compliment Posh.
I see Pitino bringing in talent at guard spot plus if Storr stays he is a guard so…
Think Pitino picks one of Curbelo or Posh

Curbello just seems like too much of a distraction, with all of the issues he has. Not saying Rick can't reign him in, but we already saw him playing alongside Posh is not a very good fit regardless.

Agree on Bronny, but that would be pretty crazy if by chance he wound up here. If that were to happen, may as well play every game at MSG, since they'll all be sell outs or close. Though the question will be; who's coaching Bronny, Rick or Dad?
Bronny is so overrated, he is going to get exposed in college for the sheer fact that he really is a liability on the offensive side, unless he is in the open court or shooting wide wide open shots. Huge pass on him and his father.

Honestly Curbelo more of Pitino guard than posh
But again unlike the last whatever years have all the confidence the coach will figure out what fits his system best.
Agree. Curbello is much more talented then Posh. We will see what happens when pitino meets the kids this week.

I hope you aren't saying Curbelo has a good jumper
His offensive game is better and so is he jumper. Posh offense is a mess. Again Pitino could send Storr packing and I am good with it. Curbelo can be a factor on offense and seems to be more of Pitino guard. Just speculation. If I had a vote would be for Posh.

hmmm a guy who has busted his ass for this school for 3 years and never had one off the court issue or Andre Curbelo. Tough one
Pitino got here 1 second ago. That not going to factor in. And honestly if that is your feeling, Pitino probably not going to be a good hire for you.

A couple of my thoughts. First Soriano is the most important player to keep. He had a great overall season and it was so discouraging that we finally had a good big man and we still couldn't compete. Put a better coached team around him and we will be at least in the NCAA tournament.

Personally I don't think Posh or Curbelo are elite point guards. I have never been one to mock Curbelo because it's obvious he has problems and I am sure that impacts his behavior and his play. I agree on some level that Curbelo is the more talented player but his problems make him too much of a risk and Posh does leave his heart on the court. I would try to get him to trim down a little and like Monte and others said use him in a rotation that maximizes his strengths.

Still think Posh can play a pretty important role even without a consistent jumper. He brings a lot of other things to the table that Pitino would value. Also watching this NCAA tournament has been fascinating. Every team has like one guy that can actually shoot if they are lucky. Don't think having Posh makes us unable to compete

Personally, I think he’s a stud and people (not you) are too eager to label him as overrated because of who his dad is.

Again this is not what I would do. Just speculation based off his prior teams.
Look at Texas and Miami
Play 3 guards that all shoot
