Future Johnny???
I think he totally outplayed soriano in charleston
Future Johnny???
Actually, Clayton and Jenkins visited St. John's the same weekend. Pitino was trying to land both of 'em. IMO, Dingle would likely not be here if Clayton had committed. If Clayton had come, Jenkins would not have been here. Go back and see some of the early articles. We were all over Clayton while both Slazinski didn’t think he was going to follow Pitino and Jenkins was non-committal. When Clayton turned us down much to everyone’s surprise, we then turned to Jenkins. Jenkins had nothing to do with Clayton not being here. Slazinski also committed but then de-committed when we got Ledlum.
Players gesture at each other on the court from time to time. Not really a surprise that this would happen when you have two ball dominant guys on the court together.
We will need a few things next year, PG being one of them.
Ziegler is a Long Island guy. Lutheran alum.Is this thread just throwing out names of players we want to transfer? Players from NY area? Or players who have played for Pitino? Just curious if anything is substantial or its just tossing out names. I guess I understand a Clayton or Zed Key. Ziegler less so. Where is this Holmes stuff coming from? Just because he played great against us?
Yeah I know Ziegler is from NY but he's the starting PG on a top 5 ranked team. That's where I don't see it.Ziegler is a Long Island guy. Lutheran alum.
Holmes was Taylor’s high school teammate
I think his name was first bandied about earlier in the season when he was coming off the bench. His minutes the last five games have exploded, so don’t disagreeYeah I know Ziegler is from NY but he's the starting PG on a top 5 ranked team. That's where I don't see it.
He’s not listed in any mocks. His lack of outside shot could hurt him as a prospect.Holmes almost went into draft last year don’t see him putting in another year in college.
Holmes has been mentioned and/or alluded to by a few site insiders. Is this thread just throwing out names of players we want to transfer? Players from NY area? Or players who have played for Pitino? Just curious if anything is substantial or its just tossing out names. I guess I understand a Clayton or Zed Key. Ziegler less so. Where is this Holmes stuff coming from? 3 for 5 from three tonight but I get your drift. He’s not listed in any mocks. His lack of outside shot could hurt him as a prospect.
As a transfer, he may make the most money on the market, considering his rare size and bonafides. Will be interesting
That sure didn't last long. It must have killed you. A simple thank you will do.This is just pure speculation obviously, but nobody has ever liked playing with a ball hog.
Trust the “Shit Against the Wall Pricess”Is this thread just throwing out names of players we want to transfer? Players from NY area? Or players who have played for Pitino? There is a video somewhere in the Pitino thread of Pitino saying he wanted the Iona guys to stay together and do something special at Iona right after he was hired here. When he was pressed in the same interview if he wanted any of his former Iona players to join him, he said “We will get Walt in for a visit after he goes home.” He only mentioned Clayton for the next 10 days and he did so a lot. Also the Jenkin’s article literally says he committed on the visit.
He told Pitino during the visit he was fully committed to him, and the Hall of Fame coach responded: “DJ, I would love to have you as my point guard.”
I’m so confused by this conversation
I’ve heard we’ve been in contact with a few names mentioned here, but not Ziegler.Yeah I know Ziegler is from NY but he's the starting PG on a top 5 ranked team. That's where I don't see it.

Kansas basketball: Has Jayhawks guard Elmarko Jackson hit rock bottom?
Elmarko Jackson's line from the Kansas basketball loss to UCF was startling, and not in a good way. He has struggled immensely in his freshman year.throughthephog.com
