Derek brown was from Elmont but went Carey high school in Franklin Square, he was a freshman when I was a senior at Carey.

I still think Ced Jackson making the NBA was a hallucination on my part.
Because my lasting memory is Quincy Douby toying with him at Alumni Hall with a trip to the BET on the line. QD dropped 36.
