Tonight's Dinner

anyone else get the sense RP is trying to temper expectations? it seems like every chance he gets he's pointing out the faults. this team has been practicing since july. with one more month to go. there'd had be a significant improvement given how RP talks about the team.
I honestly expect a shit show at practice for the next month. I’m hoping the team can find moments against Michigan and in Charleston, but they are also going to look really bad at times early. Maybe they pull some wins out from just great conditioning, preparation, coaching, and free throw shooting.

Hopefully they start hitting their stride in early to mid January. 6-8 or 7-7 to start conference play and crush the softer end of the conference schedule.

Then you play crazy defense and make them look really bad as well. Make it a dog fight.

Dingle Can take a game over if he needs. 2 go on him then there has to be a wide open man somewhere on the court.

Agreed. It kind of reminds me of how the old Denny Crum Louisville teams would be - they would struggle a bit at the outset of the season, and start to hit their stride in January, and by March they would be hell on wheels. Tough to turn over the entire roster in a single cycle and expect them to be a smooth operation at the start of the season.

I think the defense is what will take the longest to nail down. 11 of these guys never played in his system and three only played one year.

I take Pitino at his word that this group has a looooooooong way to go. Hopefully the experience our seniors have will help them get where they have to be faster.

Rick wanted experience in roster reconstruction, is inclined to value savvy guards and wants high character guys. Dingle checks all those boxes, so an inter squad scrimmage means squat. He will be a core leadership guy along with Daniss.
Spot on Paultzman

Jordan Dingle is going to be like The Microwave Vinny Johnson

Volume scorer that will take it to the hole and draw contact or knock down a long three.

Some on here trying to say what a guy is going to be off a scrimmage is laughable.

He is a major contributor from game 1 and leader for this team.

Hard work will reward them

What are the limits defined for hours of practice for players?
