Was gonna comment the same lol… but it’s worth an ask… not excited to see the stubhub prices…I think the demand is off the charts and will sell out in terms of sju allotment.

Great try though ! I’m stubbing all the way unless I get free work related tixSo I took Alumni Hall up on the suggestion… called SH ticket office re:BET ticks… I can’t buy them early since I’m not a STH or Donor (was gonna joke- who is? Am I right?!? lol)
But he did say I could call back and buy what they have left 2 weeks prior… that’s the good news… bad news is that I would become a SH booster as it requires a 500$ donation lol
I’m going to be extra nice to my buddy who is a Seton Hall season ticket holder. So I took Alumni Hall up on the suggestion… called SH ticket office re:BET ticks… I can’t buy them early since I’m not a STH or Donor (was gonna joke- who is? Am I right?!? lol)

Thanks I figured but cannot hurt to see if anyone would have more than they need. Have debated calling some other schools.I think the demand is off the charts and will sell out in terms of sju allotment.
Generally for the quarters you can pick up tix on stubhub from fans whose teams are not playing or been eliminated on wednesday. Same with semis and finals
Exactly. Last year ( and likely if we are there this year) with UCONN in the session tickets will be very expensive on secondary market. Was gonna comment the same lol… but it’s worth an ask… not excited to see the stubhub prices…
Haha I remembered the first time I asked this too. What’s STH?
This is pretty crazy but supposedly there are uconn fans who buy the cheapest DePaul season tickets so they are eligible to buy BET packages from DePaul. Pretty smart since DePaul fans have little reason to travel to NY for the BET.
Last year was an explosion. Prior to that, demand was fairly low. Last season the ticket office was besieged with last minute requests for tix from former players, and highest ranking donors looking for additional tix. I walked into the ticket office and there was 3 or 4 student workers helping to sort out literally a pile of requests spread over the floor. When do we find out if we got BET tickets? I can’t recall the last few years. I would assume the competition is a lot more fierce this year.
Back in BET MegaConference day, I'd canvass the farthest away schools' ticket offices, and concentrated on those in the bottom of the conference. In the beginning I scored BET tickets easy from that source, then it became a known thing and got harder and harder. So then I put out feelers to Alumni to those schools to help me out, especially if they were donors and got BET tix way. Tried all different ways over the years of going with a large group to the BET. Back in the day, when the dregs of the league didn't get invited, the schools still got their allotment. This is pretty crazy but supposedly there are uconn fans who buy the cheapest DePaul season tickets so they are eligible to buy BET packages from DePaul. I remember being a STH and a Red White Member at a decent level and getting shut out by St. John's.
When we had a gazillion teams, the actual allotment was wild, first the press, officials, etc., the Garden itself, the Conference itself, and then member schools, I was told back in the day, St. John's only got about 750 tickets to distribute that's why I got shut out.
Got some from Miami or Va Tech, or DePaul, so all was good.
Where there's a will there's a way.
(God Bless Annemarie Carey in the AD's Office, back in the old days.)
