I think it means we are winning our first national championship, with a starting lineup of Posh, Alvarado, Champagnie, Cockburn, and Soriano. Lack of speed upfront will be offset by all-hands team in the backcourt, and we'll allow under 60 ppg. I'm predicting an undefeated season.

I would start Wusu over Alvarado.  /media/kunena/emoticons/tongue.png

Jeff Borzello: "Oral Roberts forward Kevin Obanor is in the transfer portal as a grad transfer, source confirmed to ESPN. Averaged 18.7 points and 9.6 rebounds last season, shot 46.3% from 3".

Should attract a lot of high major suitors. St John's??????

I appreciate these  optimistic posts, but the chances of getting a top transfer are almost zero.  The staff is doing an admirable job of building solid pieces, but we appears to be a ways away from grabbing headliners.

Jeff is reporting this today but I assume that kid entered the Portal yesterday.  Grad transfers no longer are given immediate eligibility anymore, everything falls under the new rule regardless of whether you are a grad transfer or not.

So if he entered today it would be too late to qualify for immediate eligibility for next season.  That would not make sense especially since he has already graduated.

Also as a follow up it is a shame for Oral Roberts.  They were a good mid major who upset Ohio St in the 2-15 game last year and this kid was the stud player on that team.  And now he wants to move on.

Brooklyn's Josh Gray who entered his name in the Portal at the conclusion of his freshman season at LSU is headed to South Carolina.

Cisse is clearly not getting the coaching he needs to achieve his NBA dream. Maybe he should transfer to a school with a coach known for getting to most out of his players. Maybe even head a little closer to home.

Thought it interesting to read that Davion Mintz, who played at Creighton, and was a grad transfer to Kentucky last year, announced he would return for another year as a Wildcat. He probably would not have started at Creighton last year, yet was leading scorer at Kentucky.
