That's a very long list of schools he was considering in high school that I don't see our name on, yet for some reason people think Nyiwe is what's standing in the way of him coming here. I guess it must be our recent history with getting big men to the NBA that transfers would find alluring.

There's the big positive about us not being good. If we were suddenly awesome out of the blue and were able to bring in five star players, we wouldn't be able to keep everyone happy and there would be defections.

That's a problem I wouldn't mind having.  By the way, although not very good last year, UNC, a blue blood, tends to hold on to their players.

I guess the nouveau riche haven't yet mastered the art of tricking top 50 players into thinking that sitting on the bench instead of starring at their local school is better for them.

Charles is from Eastern Long Island. His dad (same name) was a star player at Bridgehampton. Young Charles had some promise but has has dealt with several injuries during his career, including two surgeries on his foot.

I wish him well and would not be surprised to see him transfer to a school in the metro NY area

West Virginia forward Oscar Tshiebwe has officially entered the transfer portal, sources told ESPN. The school announced last week Tshiebwe was stepping away from the program due to personal reasons.

How many schools were reaching out before he even announced his intentions though? That's the part I find unethical. Of course, if staff was talking to Champ to see if his brother wanted to leave Pitt, my tune might change.
