Auda is a beast so far(11 points). 28-15 (Eight minute timeout)
 
Anyone know how the crowd is? Hear some defense chants but the crowd got quiet as Seton Hall has opened up its lead.
 
Ochefu seems like the only one on Villanova that has come to play to say so far.
 
Interesting spot here for St. John's fans. If Seton Hall does beat Nova the St. John's only hope would probably be winning the BET. Beating Providence and Nova and losing to Creighton would probably still get us in. Beating Providence and Seton Hall and losing to Creighton will not do it.
 
Interesting thought. I was just texting with Gman

If we beat Providence would be hurt by a win over Seton Hall as far as selection sunday or should we be rooting for Nova because a win over them would mean more for us

How about we just win out! We can take Nova or Creighton

Can't worry about it. We have to beat Providence today and then reassess.
 
I want Nova to win. Our RPI and SOS has been steadily dropping since our winning streak. Do you think it will get much better after playing PC. If we take care of business today and get Nova, then win or lose in Semi's our SOS will get a nice jolt and so will RPI

What ?? We want to win the BE tourney, thus it's better if Seton Hall wins.
 
Nova cuts the lead to 8 at half. This will go down to the wire. Not sure Hall can keep there composure.
 
They are up at the half in spite of Edwin which is surprising. He's forcing too many shots. He scores off his defense and he scores within the offensive flow. Too much creating his own shot and step back threes.

Sure we can. This is life on the wrong side of the bubble.
 
A good half of basketball by the Pirates. They looked confident, disciplined, and prepared. Funny, but I recall a lot of disdain for Willard on these pages when we were looking for a replacement for Roberts. I'm just saying, that was good coaching!
