My thought exactly TXRedman. I think this hurts us because if we beat Providence a winn then over Seton Hall would not be considered a quality win in the eyes of the selection committee. We have to win this thing now to be guaranteed a bid. Otherwise we might not make it even with two wins.
 
I think the whole tourney has tough teams. Let's win our game

March Madness is like no other event.

I was rooting for the Hall but it sets the winner of SJU/PC up for a potential bad loss and takes away the opportunity for another quality win.
 
Many on the board love to talk X's and O's. Well, Jay Wright just done his team wrong; less than 4 seconds to go you run a second man at the ball and make him pass - the clock is your ally big time there and Wright froze IMO. You let a guy rock with rythym and fire rather than make someone catch and shoot with time running out? No-brainer.....................
 
seton hall could pull a uconn. but if we win we can definitely out number hall fans at the garden. seton hall depaul final would be terrible lol

It doesn't particularly hurt us at all. 2 wins should do the trick, regardless of opposition. I said as much a few days ago. I'm starting to believe one win probably will get us to, at least, Dayton. 2 wins will bypass Dayton.
 
Nice job by the Hall. They got shellacked by Butler in the last game of the regular season but then five dayes later turned around and beat them by 1 last night.

Then less than 24 hours later coming off a tough close game they get right back on the horse and knock off the # 3 team in the country. Maybe not great for the conference but gotta give credit where credit is due...
 
marillac say it aint so ,, you drinking the be kool aid .. you are my all time 2nd fav poster but this sh team stinks .. gibbs and edwin avg at best ,, sina a ok shooter fair freshman ..big guys ehhhh .. nova so-so team old days they would be 5th or 6th in be... these are bad teams and if its sju sh .. we romp..... these teams are bad teams in a watered down conference .. nova in old days would not even be a top 20 team who on their team is a pro ... no one.. shall is a bad team ....
 
nova will drop to bottom of the 2 line or top of the 3 line and they will bow out early in tournament.. sju beats up providence ,, pounds s hall then has a close game vs creighton ..... what more could we ask for.........
 
Gonna shut my computer down. Read the comments after the game. Hope to be in the Garden tomorrow.

SHU stinks? We beat them twice by a point so how do we "romp"? You are usually much more thoughtful. Money on Nova??
 
logen this is not no hope first rodeo.. he has never layed 10.5 in his life.. bet big favs lose big .. you never lay heavy wood like that in a game.. No smart person makes money over the long haul laying big wood.. and I never said we are that good either I am saying this is a ver poor year for college ball

Dayton probably will bypass their home with one win in the A-10 tourney. So, 2 wins will definitely bypass them. If that is what you're asking.
