Thanks!

It would be interesting, Heron did miss a significant amount of games due to injury and Johnnies were still technically playing, if I was him and he really wanted to play another season of college basketball, I would apply for a medical redshirt and see what happens, the NCAA is going to be more lenient and understanding this year over any other year, due to the abrupt way the season ended.

CMA keeps saying and doing the right think time in and time out. I am so proud to have him as our coach. He truly leads by example.

THIS!!!

Very classy move by CMA. Deserves it's own thread.

"This season was one of the most memorable in my 18 years as a head coach. The progress of our team has made me proud, beginning with the very first day of practice to the resiliency our guys put on display at Madison Square Garden this week. While we are all disappointed with the abrupt end to the college basketball season, we understand and know it was for the greater good. I would like to thank Red Storm Nation for their support throughout the entire season and look forward to getting back on the court to proudly represent New York's Team".

How can you not love having CMA as our head coach?
Looking forward to 2020-21 and beyond under your leadership, CMA
The future of St John's basketball is in great hands

Heron tweeted advocating for another year. He appears to be completely on board with the idea. We never saw the best of him, so for him alone I'd love him to have the chance

I'd like to see CMA offer Mustapha a Grad Assistant position, or get on the phone and call around to his coaching pals to get him such a position. The kid is a winner.

If other members of the administration and donors stay out of the way, this coaching staff and this athletic director will make SJU basketball great, again.

SJU has had many successful seasons in its past ,always due to the coach and ballplayers. I think this combination of coach and athletic director is probably the best it has ever had.

Carnesecca / Kaiser would be the exception
