I usually say I hope a transfer doesn't land in the Big East. With Brady, I hope he does. I'd love to watch this kid against us twice a season for the next 3 years, plus BET. Will root like heck for him, literally one of the nicest kids you'll ever meet.
I won't profess that I was friendly with him; I only met him a couple of times. But this kid has no airs about him. We chatted about his game, his added muscle, how excited he was to go out and hit people this season without going flying himself. He joked that he'd always been the "tall, skinny, white kid" but no more.
Then we spoke about baseball and his beloved Dodgers. Diehard baseball fan. He knows his baseball inside and out. The Dodgers were once in New York, now the same is true about Brady. Neither will be forgotten here.
So many of his sideline celebrations were inside jokes with his teammates, about stuff thst happened, about video games they played.
Was an intense player whose oncourt demeanor was oppisite the sideline cheering.
At one practice scrimmage I was at, something happened that pissed him off royally. Maybe an elbow to the face, msybe some trash talk, maybe just angry at himself. For a few minutes he ran up and down the court still pissed, muttering profanities to noone in particular. I asked him about it and he had no recollection. Makes sense.
Don't let the baby face fool you. He's a serious gamer and he will be heard from. Kill it kid.
