Hall hit 11 of his 16 free throws and knocked down six 3-pointers. He also handed out six assists.

Folks on JJ say he's probably doing a prep year and should be listed as a 2013 recruit.

Hall has a lot of work to do academically to qualify, but he's got a chance. #boyshoops

from the below LINKED article:

"Thaddeus Hall likes to think of himself the best player in the city. There were very few high school players in the country better in the first half on Wednesday.
The senior swingman poured in 34 of his career-high 39 points in the opening 24minutes to lead top-seeded Thomas Jefferson to an 86-76 win over No. 17 Robeson in the second round of the PSAL Class AA playoffs in East New York......“He put on a show,” Jefferson coach Lawrence (Bud) Pollard said of Hall, who added 10 rebounds and six assists. “He was amazing..... I said Thaddeus, ‘this is your last game at Jefferson; this is how you want to go out?’ Next thing you know dunk, 3-pointers, alley-oops, offensive rebounds, taking guys off the dribble, steals. He was performing and everybody else was a backup singer.”

seems like, with the right bigs added he would give us a lot of versatility. I could see us, if he really can shoot, running a three guard line up like 'nova use to. Branch, dh, hall, hark and sampson or obekpa if they come. Sounds like a great pick ip if he qualifies. Not saying every game but it would be nice to have that ability to mix it up

I think this shows that they are still a ton of players out there, that Lavin and staff are in on. Getting ready for some recruitimg syprises.

He seems to be shooting the ball from his chin-level. He will need to correct that, or he will never get-off a clean shot in the Big East.

Similar to Harrison. I like this kid...first I've seen of him, but he's a player and you can tell instantly. He's got swagger to spare.

Remember Alan Seiden; he didn't do too badly shooting that way.

I think the kid looks good. Good athlete, nice body control, swagger and apparently a very good shooter and scorer. Not worried about his release. A tough NYC scorer is always welcome.

Kid is a born scorer, has nice rangy size and is a dead eye shooter IMO. Word is he will prep a year w outside chance of qualifying this year.

Which is why no harm in offering. Should he qualify, we'd have w ship.

It could be harmful if he commits scares of another shooter and the doesn't qualify

I dont think the staff will take a commit from him unless he's qualified or projected to be.

He looks like I envisioned Lindsey coming in. Now he'll be "Easy Rider" instead of too easy. I hope Hall comes. Looks real versatile and fearless.
