I am a Jets fan as well, playing the Titans. Let me see what is a bigger game?

You are probably the type of fan who has tickets to patriots game on 27th but will sell those tickets as well.

Bunch of recruits at game good thing all our fans selling to SYracuse fans. Please just stay away in the future.

Guy, you need to chill out. I have tickets to the Patriots game, of course, I have full season tickets to the Mets, Jets and St John's. Excuse me for going to the Jets game instead of the St John's game when I have tickets to both. Calling me a fair weather fan is also absurd. I'm 25 years old and have 2 degrees from the school, since I've been old enough to really follow this team we've made just 2 NCAA tournaments. I haven't missed consecutive home games since I was a junior in high school before this week ( I had taken a half day of PTO to go to the 5PM Niagra game but came down with the flu on Monday and have been out all week). I live 70 miles and 20 dollars in tolls from Carnesecca Arena and I have to wake up at 5:50 to go to work everyday yet there I am watching us play UMBC in Queens at 9:30 PM. Fairweather fan, ha. My parents hadn't even met yet when we last had any sort of legit success.

I recall the games in the Garden versus UConn years back. The odious din from UConn fans was disheartening to SJU fans and to the team.
UConn fans, back then, were obnoxious. Hopefully, 'Cuse fans more professional. Those games vs UConn still give me bad memories.

There is always the morally right thing to do in life and the wrong thing:). I would rather give my tickets away for free or sell them for face value to a true SJU fan. Nothing wrong with making a few bucks but don't expect people on this board to agree with your position.

Anyways lets go SJU, I am going to the game with a bunch of Cuse fans and hope to ruin their afternoon!

I don't mind someone disagreeing with the fact he may or not have sold to a Syracuse fan. But to call someone a joke of a fan and a fair weather fan is just downright idiotic. Anyone who actually takes the time to log in for Redmen.com and talk about the team we have this year obviously isn't a fair weather fan.

A fair weather fan is someone who disappears for the bad and returns for the good. So if I'm around, rooting for the team, during a season like this, I'm not a fair weather fan.

And so what if the jets are playing the Titans the season is on the line if they lose they probably won't make the playoffs. If I wasn't 18 years old and still in high school, and I had tickets to the sju game and the jets game, it is a NO BRAINER. And that doesn't mean I love sju any less than you do. I live and breathe St. John's hoops, and someone calling me a fair weather fan isn't going to change that. And this is mostly addressing bucknasty even though I'm quoting Roamer.

This is all insanely off topic and needs to stop, all of you. Thanks.

Don't let them give you shit.
You know how many hundreds of posters here spend thousands of dollars on season tickets?
Few things worse than sitting in the Garden, covered in orange, watching your team get annihilated.

I propose that the next time SJU11Redmen has to sell tickets to a game against a bitter rival, he first offer the tickets to Bucknasty 23. If Bucknasty declines, then he should shut up and not tell people what they should do with their tickets. That goes for the rest of you busybodies as well.

I sent the entire Syracuse team and coaching staff some Chipotle Christmas Gift Cards as a sign of good will. Does that make me fair weather?

As a Johnny fan I'm pretty convinced that nothing is worse than sitting through a Syracuse rout at the garden.

I figure we may make it a game if Frederico snaps out of it and goes off all game long

If not, I'm going to try ear plugs and spit balls.

Great to see all the recruits coming.

True, but if we get a real drubbing -- think of the Fordham; this is Syracuse -- it could bite us in the butt. Praying it's a close game.

I am all right I got my nice seats, I am huge Jets fan but no way I am selling seats for the biggest game on the home schedule.

Whatever you say crumb cake.

Plenty of fans buy tickets on here off of each other. Terrible Job. Could have easily guaranteed a sell to a Johnnies fan.

That is why our fan base sucks, people just looking to make money on the biggest games when team needs its fans there.

Dude I've met SJU11Redmen. He is a great SJU fan but he is also a young guy. He shells out a lot of money for tix and travels to games which is more than a lot of other people so he has every right to put his tix up and get whatever he can get for them.

I don't put my tix up on stub hub but I'm also 45 and in a different position but if I was his age I'd be doing the same exact thing as 11

High horse? Just stay home in the future. Your a joke of a fan.

The guy drove down to charlotte for the ncaa tourney game last year.

He's a great fan.

I'm just going to hear Ralph curse

My two cents, it's no one else's business what someone does with THEIR tickets.
