Syracuse Fans Very Upset With St. John's

Off topic but this sounds like rabid Cuse fans:

I just read Creighton season ticket holders have already purchased 750 all session tickets for the Big East Tournament. That seems incredible to me. I honestly believe Xavier, Creighton, and Butler will have decent followings at the Garden along with Georgetown, and Villanova. I am concerned with the St Johns, Seton Hall, Marquette, providence and DePaul fan bases. We really need this BET to be a hot ticket.

No school is going to struggle to get rid of their allotment. The allotment is so small when you spread it out 10 ways after the BE and corporate sponsors get their take.

True, but do you think we have even sold 750 season tickets yet.

You're kidding, right? Have you ever been to a game?

I have no idea. About how many do we have?

I had a conversation with a nice woman in the ticket office just a week or two ago. I asked how many season package seats are sold. She said that it's more than last year; and she guessed around 5k. I don't know if that's full season seat packages or includes partial packages, etc. She said season ticket interest picked up the 1st year Lavin was here, then declined the last couple of seasons and now has picked up again.

That is a lot more than what I expected. I assumed 1,000 Full ticket season holders equating to about 3k in actual tickets. We don't normally get 5k to an Alumni Hall game so that would be a drastic improvement. Maybe there are a lot more student tickets sold?

Based on the seat locations available in the package that includes the Syracuse and Fordham games, I doubt there are much more than 3,000 season tickets being sold. Maybe this year the number is a little higher.

There is no numerical difference between who's name the tickets are under and the total number of season tickets sold. Example: I have 3 season tickets under my name, that does not count as one season ticket holder it counts as 3.

Yes, I have been to a game. I can't imagine too many people belonging to this website who haven't! I would say we have 1,000 FULL ticket season HOLDERS in general (although maybe I am far off). My point was how impressed I was by Creighton's fan base and how disappointing our and some other Big East teams fan bases are sometimes Seems like a lot of tickets sold, already, for an event half way across the country in March. I hope they sell even more. The more people interested in buying BET tickets the better.

I think at the end of the Norm era, the number of full season ticket holders had dwindled to about 2500 tickets. I am presuming the number of full plans have grown slowly over the past 3 seasons, to about 3200 or so. Still far below what it once was, but that will continue to improve if we become a regular tourney team again.

Many of the seats you can buy in those packages are better than what they offer season ticket holders.

"Cuse has over 15K season tickets sold, to put it in perspective.

Let's not compare our revived program to one of the most successful programs in basketball over the past 25 years. Not to mention that Syracuse basketball does not compete with any professional sports or other cultural attractions in Syracuse.

If anybody is interested I have a discount code for our games in Brooklyn. It's no service charge on all orders, so it works out to $10 - $20 off per ticket in some cases.
$65 ticket becomes $53, $45 becomes $37, etc

Use this link and enter the code "PLUM". (It doesn't work through Ticketmaster directly, you need to go through Barclays Center's link.)

it that site legit? seems off. i searched barclayscenterots.com and something totally different came up

It's legit. I used the code Rumble to buy tickets at the same price and did not pay surcharges.

Yea it's real. I got the Plum code through the Hr dept at my wife's work, but it's not exclusive, anyone can use it. And like Andrew said I think it's a common discount they give out pretty freely.
I know the code AAA works too, and you don't have to be an actual AAA member to use it.

What is the best way to pick up a couple of tickets for this game?

Make eye contact from across the room and send them a drink. Then go over and ask them back to your place for a menage a triche.
