Syracuse Fans Very Upset With St. John's

Sounds like they are not too happy with our ticket policy for the game on the 15th. If you don't have season tickets make it a point of buying tickets to his game. Our program deserves the support.

Hey I think they are overreacting. Isnt this the same deal other teams have to go along with when they play us at MSG? They did want the ACC didnt they?? All the football money?? They should just figure out what airline they like for ACC games and save up on frequent flyer miles.
It is all life in the ACC

I thought Syracuse Fans could afford to pay a little more for their tickets. They like to give off the impression that it is a great school that produces rich alumni.

My heart bleeds for them.
I recommend filling up their tanks for a long drive down 95 or using Priceline for flights to the deep south.

I bet many of the fans that attend Syracuse games have never set foot in a Syrcuase (or any other college) classroom. It's probably a choice of another meth bender or some basketball.

They should be happy that SJU is putting them on the schedule. They should have to buy an SJU season ticket to attend the game. IF they are so pissed, let them petition the school to drop out of the ACC and show their unhappiness by not donating to the school.

I think those people are mistaken. MSG single game tickets haven't gone on sale yet.

I believe they go on sale early November, I`ll call the first week. I know I won`t be forced to see a school like Fordham. If that`s the case then I`ll very happily watch the Syracuse game at home.

Why not go to both games?

All of us should be there for that game ! It's very important that we fill up the seats with as many sju fans/alums as possible. I hate that bullshit with Syracuse fans saying Syracuse is "New York city's team." It's going to be a great game but we will make them respect us this year. I say we win 68-63 with our back court being the reason why. We have enough big bodies to compete with syracuse's massive front line but there back court is depleted. Other than the talented Canadian Tyler Ennis they have no one. SJU is back baby ! Can't wait for the season .

I don't think Syracuse fans are pissed that NY's team is now playing in the best college basketball league against the very best competition in the country. In fact, I bet the fans of NY's team are very excited about that. No, what they seem to be pissed about is that MSG thinks that Saint John's fans suck so much and are so disloyal that there's no way that the Garden is even half full for the SJ Fordham game on December 7th so MSG is forcing the fans of NY's team to buy tickets to a game between what they call "mid- majors," which they will not attend, so that MSG doesn't lose its shirt. It's like they want to go to a particular restaurant for a meal but the owner of the restaurant tells them sure you can eat here but you have to pay for a meal at this crappy restaurant called Chez Louie's first, because no one's going to go there because the food's sucked for 20 years.

I fear that the fans on that board aren't wrong about Syracuse going directly through MSGa and scheduling their own 'home' games in the future.

What's stopping MSG from booking 2 or 3 Cuse games every year ?

"...Well, I'm willing to do what's needed to make this game, the only one outside of traveling five hours to Syracuse that I can attend this year. Life in the ACC. Last year, I went to games in Philly, Newark, Providence and New York, and that's not counting the game I skipped at UConn. It is what it is....."

I'll bet that this is the feeling of many Syracuse fans nowadays.

Similar to BC's supporters with their move down south.

If SJU did the same I would only be seeing the occasional game in person.

Sometimes the old saying, "nothing fails like success." rings true close to home.

FROM A SYRACUSE POSTER....."I have a contact at the garden box office and will be buying a block of lower level tickets. I contacted him today with a request of 13 tickets so far. If you would like to be added to the list contact me via my email directly to be put on........cusenc03@yahoo.com"

We need to have someone do what this guy is doing for Syracuse, better yet, we should all email this guy and ask for tickets thru him LOL.

Actually a very good analogy. Besides Syracuse never considered their fans when they greedily took to the ACC. Since when do fans count for anything other than lip service.
