I think most people understood major precautions were taken against Pace, as well as Rutgers. Getting 100% healthy for Stony Brook was the priority as well as seeing what Pitino had down his bench. I think they accomplished what they wanted in the 2 games, sans the loss to Pace, but even then Pitino said it was good.

The word at both Rutgers and the Pace game from behind the scenes was if either was a real game everyone would be suiting up and playing sans Luis, so this all lines up perfectly. Lets rock and roll Tuesday!

I've gone to many of them in the past years for both home and away games and I always felt that they were worth the ducats paid.

I think that’s all true . But , still do you really want to lose to Pace no matter who on your team is playing ? If the squad is as deep as advertised , and contains highly sought after transfers and recruits , it’s still a shock to lose to the Setters .,

Especially the way we as fans and the Media have gone all in on Pitino and the St Johns resurgence .

I think Pitino will get this team to a high level this season . Right now , I would take a 5 th place finish , a win or 2 in the BE tourney and a NCAA bid and 1 win there .,please !

If we exceed that , great !

Who would ever want to lose is the question.
 
I am intrigued about the conflict between Dingle and Pitino. I guess we find out tomorrow how bad it is.

What conflict?? Dingle had a minor injury and they were being cautious. At least that’s all I thought it was.
