Starting lineup change has to happen

Let's stay on topic and keep things civil.

It didn't hit me right away but missing Williams is a big deal. Not that we wouldn't have gotten blown out yesterday but he is one of our top defenders when we press. I think we need to start pressing from the tip as it gives us our best chance to win.

Its not the starting line up , nor the schedule, nor the arena, nor the refereeing. It's trying to take a team that ranks about three hundred among some three hundred fifty teams in shooting accuracy and getting them to play like a top fifty team.
A daunting task.

I'm ready for an LJ, Earlington, Heron, Williams, and Dunn starting lineup when everyone is healthy.

Why the love affair with Heron, because he's a good kid so he should start?
He doesn't deserve to start, give me Sears over Heron

I agree, at this point, I'd see if Heron is more comfortable coming off the bench.

I'd like to see CMA start...
Rutherford, Dunn, LJ, Earlington, Roberts.

Let Heron come in with the second unit and see if he can be more effective in that role. Seems like when he's out there with LJ he's trying to compete with who can get their shot up first. Also, Roberts has got to bring something, he's been non-existent the last 3 games, been getting pushed around in the paint, Sears has actually been more effective at holding his on in Big East play.

Because I'm in agreement with the posters who want him at PF. I'm more in favor of that change of scenery to help break his funk, and then off the bench if that option fails. Plus, he's more talented than Sears. And if being a good kid was my primary motivation I'd be pushing O'Connell for a starting role.

Does Coach Mike read the board? If armchair hoopers like me could see a change needed to be made, it was a pretty easy decision for iron mike. It was time as the original starting unit could not score enough. Moving forward, i expect the new starting lineup to be what we roll out there for the rest of the year.

I thought your suggestion was for earlington to start.

I thought a more drastic change was necessary. I suggested Dunn, duke and even steere to go along with rutherford and lj. I guess mike's tweak was better. hahahahha.

Steere hasn't earned any playing time to date, let alone to be a starter
For the forseeable future, he's going to be picking splinters on the bench

I agree. I just figured with us in such a offensive rut, it couldnt hurt to give him extended pt to see if he has anything. but now that we are back on track, he done,. he aint playing a lick.
