(STAPLES) Arizona St., Fri. Dec. 8, 8p, PAC 10, 970 AM

last season Romello White would have killed us. This season we have some answers and I think we have some matchup advantages.

Unfortunately, I don't have PAC 12 network as I have Directv. No game for me unless my son pirates the internet. ;)

@sjc88# Did you look into Sling or Fubo.tv ? Both have PAC-12 and both offer free 7 day trial.

Thanks, Paul. I am a little bit of a tech illiterate. I will probably get the game somehow as my son can find anything! He's just out of college and when he was away he didn't miss a game. If its televised somewhere he can find it. I am a little frustrated paying $300 a month (baseball/football/hockey) and yet still can't get 'everything". LOL.

Paul, I know you are in Cal. are you impacted by the wildfires? Hope not. The crap they show on TV makes it look crazy. I thought you were North of fires. Stay safe.

That's good news! I do like this team's cohesion and grit. Hoping for a great game. And Loyola beat big / bad Florida y'day away! I'm taking that as a 'sign'!

our short bench is going to be a problem tonight because I think they are going to get us into big time foul trouble. If somehow we keep it close I'll be happy but I think this is going to be a double digit loss

I hear you on the foul trouble and it would certainly be no surprise. On the other hand, their bench is just as short as ours; hoping we can turn the tables for once and get them in some early foul trouble. Key word is "hoping".

Hope we win but if we stay within 5 pts on the road in there backyard it would not hurt us. But we will have to be ranked or good teams eventually to get respect if we want to make the NCAA

It's their own backyard in the way that Sarah Palin's was Russia. I don't think ASU travels well and I don't think the USC fans will be there til the end of the game to show some Pac 12 support, if they would even do so. We'll see but I'm pretty sure this will feel more like an empty arena game than an ASU home game. Especially with the 5pm start.

Both teams play with short rotations and the teams' top sevens are not very different in size. They start 6.1, 6.1, 6.5, 6.8, and 6.9 and their two key subs are 6.10 and 6.0. The key difference is that ASU's three guards shoot lights out from 3. Key to this game in my view is for our d to minimize the open looks from three which we've had mixed success in doing so far. Not having Lovett to hound one of their 2 - 6'1" shooters will make this tougher for us. Here's hoping we have a plan to stop their 3's and that we have enough inside to play effective D on their tall but thin guys without our guards having to collapse and leave shooters open.

Bashir has already taken three rushed shots five seconds into shot clock. :D

Was this before or after he called for the ball with his foot on the side line? :(
The rushed shots are bad enough, it's the constant traveling violations 30 feet from the hoop that irk me.

10-7 ASU. Owens with 2 fouls in first 4 minutes - he can't keep doing this. Unable to stay on the floor.
