Sayonara St. Mary's... Great comeback and resolve... Fwiw, great coaching adjustments. We are really doing a great job adjusting after timeouts and halftimes. Killed em in every facet after the half, and that is against a very good coach and solid team with probably one of the best offensive centers in the country. Love this win!
 
I can only imagine how many people here declared this game over at (or before) halftime. Great win for these kids.
 
Great win. We didn't play anywhere near close to our best, and still found a way to grind it out.
 
Thank you Dom for missing that final FT. Nothing better than having your team win and also winning +7 on St. Mary's!

D'Lo is an animal... Great plsyer, leader and it comes out every game. He drew fouls purposefully all day and he orchestrated it impressively. Pointer also was awesome. At 6'5" guarding a 7 ft center the entire second half and didn't give up an inch. He has honed his scoring as well. Much improved player.

Agree completely, Marcus: great job adjusting by our coaching staff. And these kids are very special.
 
This year's team doesn't feel like THAT kinda team. First time I can say that in a loooong time. This team adjusts and coaches do too which is a rarity for SJU in recent memory.

that was like slaying a demon. (one of many from the past few years). 1st half was one of the most brutal ever but coming back from the depths was important for the psyche of this team.

BRUTAL! I even feel bad for Waldo. He looked ready to cry.
 
Looks like JDL will be able to give us some valuable minutes this year. He looked much better than I had anticipated.

Luckily for you Bennett forgot how to coach in the 2nd half.
 
There's some strong willed kids on this team, but as long as D'Angelo Harrison is on this team we have a chance.
 
Most importantly, with another win we'll most likely be moving up again in the rankings for next week.
 
Great second half...the kids have cojones......Miami (#18) loses to Eastern Kentucky at home by 28...up in the rankings we go !!!!!
