St. John's to Leave Nike?

These uniforms are great, couldn't have imagined them doing much better. I'll definitely be grabbing a couple when they are available.
 
With the OOC unis the phrase that comes to mind as a promo or even a crowd chant is "The heart of this city is red."
 
The bookstore has had shirts and banners with the new logo for a few months now. The UA stuff is still very few and far between. There is also a new car sticker with the new logo.

Hint: If you guys are in Marillac anytime soon hunting for new gear, look by the cash registers...that's usually where they keep the brand new stuff that hasn't even been hung up yet. I've asked before if I could buy one of them since they weren't even on display yet, and they let me.
 
FWIW, lids.com just added new SJU hats. Pretty cool.

Also, on the auctions on redstormsports.com they are selling one of those custom authentic gray jerseys! I got excited until I saw it was size 54 which equates to XXXL I believe. Dare I mention the size... :silly:

Anyway, starting bid is $25...so to all the bodyguards in here, it can be yours for a small fee (though I expect a war and an end price in 3 figures)!

Interesting. That red hoodie looks like it has both the word marks used during the Nike era: the current St.J and the "St. John's" from the Jordan brand jerseys.

Those marks are here for the time being. When there is bigger rebrand down the line they will likely change

I'm looking forward to seeing UA's approach. Still, seems odd to bring back the Jordan era font with the more recent Nike look. Add in the mix of other styles and we are all over the map right now.

That said, I'd rather live like this in the short term and have UA take the time to get it right than jump into a half-baked solution.

Yea you have guys like Joe beating down the bookstore door wanting to buy UA stuff. We own all those marks, and it doesnt hurt to have variety in terms of what we sell. So it's not bad. As we've seen some people are partial to certain times and what we wore.

Hey, if they get nice gear I will buy it! Thinking of checking out the UA sweatshirts on the way back from Merrick one of these days since the Queens campus is only 20 min from there vs. 45 min from my exit off the LIE. I'll probably have to wait until my next check though...those things are probably $70 bucks and the stipend I get goes almost entirely to gas.

Does anyone know when the jerseys are going available to purchase at UA.com?

Last I heard the non-conference jerseys would be available by October and the throwbacks would be available by November
