There are no changes we can make to help an all freshmen team that lost two recruits to qualification issues that were 6'9" and 6'10" respectively... Well have to cope this year.
 
 As good as Lindsey is im not sold on him being a team player.

How long are the excuses of "we are young" and "we don't have the depth" going to last? We are down right now because we were lazy at times and we don't know that the number one thing about rebounding is boxing out!!!
 
I agree with jumbo, rebounding is all about positioning, and wanting it more than the other guy, especially on your defensive end. Lindsey has to stop shooting the 3, as someone who didn't play bball (I am a lacrosse/hockey guy) how can you not be able to shoot the 3 at all as a d1 point guard. Heck I play pick up ball with guys who didn't even play hs ball and we all can hit 3s at a consistent level. I even make 30 percent of my threes and I didn't touch a bball for 6 years.

How long? As long as they are freshmen would be my guess.
We do not have depth?? You are very astute!
Boxing out? The A & M front line is 6'9, 6'8, 6'7 and we are playing FOUR GUARDS!
Until Nurideen shows me he can shoot beyond 10 feet he needs to feed Greene and Harrison unless he has a clear path to the basket.
 
I have to shut this off. I am ok with being younger, and smaller, but I am not ok with no hustle, stupid turnovers, and forced shots. GG cannot play at this level. I would rather go small and at least have competent players. He cant even play defense, his guy blows around him so what does he provide? Nuri has to learn how to not push off every time down the floor. Overall this is just a terrible performance. I can tolerate a lot with a young team, but stupidity is not one of them.
 
 Anyone want to guess how many Big Easr games we will win. The way they look picked 12 seems about right

I don't buy the "freshman mistake" excuse. It's still basketball. It's the same game they have been playing most of their lives. It hasn't changed that much.

As for them being 6'9, 6'8, 6'7.....no sh*t they are taller than us, especially since we play guards. That's why boxing out is so important!! If you box out correctly, it takes away some of their height advantage (that's kind of the whole point of it) Did you ever coach basketball before in your life??????

I'm at work w/ no TV following this thread and some of you make it out like we're down 20-30.

 
 
Turnovers and bad shots. We can win this game if we limit the turnovers. And the FT, come on. We make more than the other team takes every game, but we have to start capitalizing. We clearly get to the line a lot, if we can cash in on the FTs we win last night and are winning right now. The FT line doesn't matter how old you are.  
 
 Harrison looks like he does not have confidence taking the 3 past up open shots Another game getting very little from GG
