Played well in the G League last year and lighting it up in the summer league. Two problems are (1) 6'5" guard is probably the deepest position in the NBA; (2) I wonder what summer league means (if anything) beyond an opportunity for teams to work on development of 10 or 15 rookies who were high draft picks. But sometimes a summer league star translates, and Jenkins is making a strong case to be that guy.
Saw that. Also had three blocks. Good for Chris, another example of a guy whose work ethic/determination could earn him a long look somewhere.
Just imagine if he had another year with CRP.
