St Johns Mount Rushmore

Imo. Lopez was our version of Darryl Strawberry- so highly anticipated and heralded that being anything but an all time great would be a disappointment. Still he was plenty good, even if he left here with most of his veneer tarnished compared to how he arrived.  I think it was Sonny Vaccaro quoted in the ESPN documentary who felt Felipe would have been a lottery pick if he had left after his freshman year.

Very good sju career.  Deserved of our HOF and nba first round pick.  Not one of our 4 best players all time.  Definitely our most highly recruited player though, rivalled only by Mullin.

Carnesecca*; Mullin; Berry; Tony Jackson; Sonny Dove

If I can't name Lou, then I would add Sealy.

Off the top of my head mine is probably Lopez, Artest, Hatten & Harrison (only counting players I’m old enough to have enjoyed)

Ponds, Hardy, Barkley, Bootsy are my B team.

I feel like Ponds St Johns legacy is tricky. We didn’t win a lot while he was here but he was fun to watch, delivered some huge moments & if we’re being honest the Mullin regime didn’t really surround him with much depth or talent. Far from a perfect player but think of how rough it would have been watching those years without him…yikes. Really happy to see him back in G league and playing well. Would love to see him stick for  a few season in the big league.

Chris Mullin, Walter Berry, Mark Jackson, Malik Sealy and Ron Artest.
Got to win NCAA tournament games to be on Mount Rushmore.

Grassy Knoll Rushmore?
Erick Barkley, Lavor Postell, Felipe Lopez, Marcus Hatten, DJ Kennedy.

Who keeps adding these 5th heads to Mt Rushmore?  Is that where the Trump head is going.  /media/kunena/emoticons/sick.png
