St. John's........ Big East Champions

 St. John's plays East Carolina-North Carolina winner at 6 p.m. on Sunday night. They have two chances to advance. If they lose they would rematch at 6 p.m. on Monday 
 
As a non-alum I usually follow other SJU sports but not seriously. Watched the game today online, wow. Congrats to the SJU baseball team and hopefully they get through, I don't know the last time they did? Would be great for the school and program. 
 
 First a Mets no hitter and now this. Unbelievable. Let's Go St. John's, make them feel the might of the Red & White.

They have never made a super regional since it went to that format. The last time they won a regional was when they went to the 1980 College World Series.

Since the super regional format has been adotped, it is the also the first time SJU has won its first two games at a regional.
 
 For even more perspective -- UNC's closer is a first-team all-america who before that three-run homer had allowed just one homer and six runs in 55 innings.
 
 I was in the Garden for Ron Rowan's shot, I was in Cameron for Bootsy's shot and I was at the game today. It was awesome and maybe even better than the others, as I shared the moment with my 9 year old boy. Unbelievable !!!
 
I was at BE champ. game too where Rowan it the jumper but it was Walters great block of the Pearl that sealed the WIN!

Great to see you attended the game & saw great comeback with your son :cheer:
