South Carolina, Tues. Dec. 22, 9pm, CBS Sp& 570AM

Got to stay with the zone. We don't have the talent and experience to play man.

A client of mine gave me a really good bottle of scotch the other day for christmas. I don't even drink the stuff but I just might try it tonight to put me to sleep after this game

That Ellison dish for the Sima dunk shows what our big guys are capable of once we get guards who can penetrate. LoVett & Ponds can't get here soon enough...

Seriously.... I kinda feel bad for saying this. But Ellison's shots remind me of youth league or middle school kids shots. Those shots are wild, and aren't close to going in.

He's a work in progress

... and that's putting it nicely

Hate to say it, but even factoring his injury into equation, I have my doubts that Ellison is a BE level player. I think he will get buried with infusion of new kids next year. Hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see what he potentially brings to the table.

Yeah, I hate to write him off so quickly, as well, Paultz. But, I have a feeling your scenario could play out. Ponds is already in the fold. If Bashir, Freudenberg, and someone like Alkins come along, then where does Ellison fits in?

I'm gonna give Ellison the remainder of this season to show what he has, but the prospects doesn't look in his favor at this juncture. I, desperately hope he proves me wrong the remainder of this season and his time at St. John's.

At least Mullin looks comfortable sitting on the scorers table. Maybe get him a recliner
