Seriously, we've been very fortunate with lack of injuries this season. Comes at a bad time but it doesn't sound too serious.
 
I was at hss today at 11 seeing an ortho surgeon. No sju players in sight.

Must say we were due for an injury to a key player. However, am relieved it is not a DJ Kennedy season ending one. The team will rally around this tonight and beat Butler handily IMO.

No offense taken. Posts were very funny right up until the point that it turned out to be true. Like I said, just sorry I was right about this one.
 
We will be fine, lucky it's now and not for the BE tourney. GG and Sanchez will step up . Keep it rolling!

That sucks.

It happens, as soon as a big game coming up this weekend. Wish Obekpa a speedy recovery, and have him ready to go by the end of the regular season going into the conference tournament.
 
We looked mech better w CO in lately. This is a bummer. Fortunately we have Gift and Sanchez as replacements. By the way, this thread doesn't seem so funny now.

Watching nova vs PC and salivating at the block party CO was going to have this weekend. I guess we will just have to wait for the BE tourney. Wish him a speedy recovery but Sanchez and GG have to step up so we can put these guys away.
 
Sad to see CO get hurt, but nothing we can't overcome. I'd be surprised if he isn't back by the 3/2 Depaul game. Others will have to step up against Butler, Nova and Xavier during his absence.

It really sucks, but I think we'll be ok. I mean, he only played 15 minutes in the Georgetown game because of foul trouble and we still blew them out. Time for Sanchez and God's Gift to step up.
 
This sucks. CO was playing his best basketball of the season and was doing a good job catching Rysheed's passes and sticking that 15-foot jumper. He'll be missed, but as others have pointed out, his teammates will have to step up.
