Didn't notice. Happened very quickly. Before I noticed jacket I noticed height and build and thought to myself "there's a ballplayer". Then looked closer and saw black St. John's basketball jacket.

Perhaps he was just a tall kid wearing a SJU jacket

NEW YORK (Feb. 18, 2014) – St. John’s head men’s basketball coach Steve Lavin announced that 6-9 sophomore center Chris Obekpa would miss the next 10-14 days’ worth of games and team practices after suffering an ankle injury during practice on Monday at Madison Square Garden.

Obekpa will minimally be out for Tuesday night’s contest against Butler and Saturday’s matchup at No. 9/11 Villanova, and likely the Tuesday, Feb. 25 matchup against Xavier.

uhhh- oh Good thing GG has played meaningful minutes, but we are thinnest up front. Losing 5 fouls hurts. Butler is not a good rebounding team though, but definitely hurts big time.

This is very unfortunate. I'd say after Jordan and Harrison CO is very likely the next most valuable guy to this run we've been on. Sanchez played well last game...he'll need to be huge for us.
