I'm just glad to see a dry board on the bench, I don't care who's touching it or who's addressing the players among our staff on a time out. Delegating responsibility...this board seems to struggle with that concept at times.

I don't doubt that someone said this. There could be a myriad of reasons and maybe in the end he will leave. I stopped by with a buddy of mine to talk to him yesterday at Fordham. We talked about some basketball played together going back over 30 years ago which was appropriate given he was watching his old high school team. I wasn't going to ask him how his job is going but he seemed happy.

Whatever is gonna happen, there will still be a program in the morning. Unless Kentucky wants him back, there aren't too many places he could make more money, including HC at a mid major. Whether another shoe is going to drop or not, we'd be better off just to relax because there's nothing that can be done anyways. Already, with or without Slice, next year figures to be a huge improvement over this one, so I'm prepared for anything.

Easily, remember that song, "Rumors." Timex Social Club was the name of the group who song it. It came out during the summer of '86 (I was going to the 8th grade).

Damn, my bad. You're right.

Oh and Cameo has been around since the 70's even if Word Up didn't come out till about 87. Their song "Talking Out the Side of Your Neck", is popular with school marching bands.

As for Moose, I know he doesn't just throw out things just to stir the pot.

Matt did not deny the rumor of Slice leaving. He just playfully denied the rumor it would be because of a rift with him.

Matt is a young, highly energetic guy who sometimes says the wrong thing at the wrong time. What he considers "just messing around" can be taken by some (not all) as borderline insulting.

He almost single-handedly recruited an entire team plus three terrific prospects in nine months time. That is outstanding. He just needs to let his work speak for itself and all will be good.

Mullin'sHood was formely Lavinwood and arguably the biggest pro SJU account out there. SJU can kill 10 puppies and he would spin it in a good light.

Btw, SJU79, a very credible guy on JJ, echoes Moose's contention that there is a problem. Hopefully this all gets resolved.
