In recruiting thread on Ponds, it was reported that Slice was with Mullin watching Ponds at MSG. Unless he is putting on an act, why would he be there if he is leaving?
Moose didnt just throw shit out there. His rumor stunned me but if someone told him that it's not like he heard it off someone from a website he never met. He knows the person literally that told him who has had a very good track record with him and his other comments that life in the program isn't a perfect world is true.
That being said let's all be just happy it now sounds like Slice will be back and take Moose at his word because he didnt post something just to cause problems because he didnt

Not that Moose needs any validation from the cheap seats, but we're fortunate to have a number of posters here whose motivations and integrity are above reproach – and he's one of them.
Seems like a good day to say thanks to those of you willing to share the bits and pieces on insight into the program that wouldn't otherwise reach the rest of us. We might not always like the news, but we're here because this is the best place to get it.
I won't list names (because I'd certainly miss some key posters), but do want to say thanks to the lot of you!
Was interviewed as part of Matt A.profile piece on final Red Storm report...obviously wouldn't expect him to say anything negative but could just easily have deferred to any of the other assistants. Hopefully, any issues are just a case of both guys having to adapt to sharing the spotlight.
Slice had to share it in Kentucky where, I believe, Kenny Payne was actually the #1 recruiter.
Given the close relationship with Mullin, would imagine that any rift would have to be significant to result in leaving the staff - especially for another tri-state school.

Too low. As I mentioned earlier school went all out to get him and opened the piggy bank.
And repeating what others have said Moose would not throw out crap or start rumours for no reason. If he posted something it is because it came from a reliable source.
Plus, remember his title is Associate Head Coach, not Assistant Coach.
