Bennett has some pretty attractive options. Teams that are capable of beating Duke every year. I think it's unlikely he ever regrets not coming to SJU.

Williams-Goss verballed to UNLV last year, but Lon Kruger was coach at the time. He withdrew the verbal, although still considering Rebels and new coach, Dave Rice. He had a big game in the recent Findlay-Bishop Gorman game.

Bennett should focus on taking the SAT since its something he supposedly hasn't taken yet. I mean its only February of his Sr. year.

I don't think it is true at all. Lavin and Co. want top 100 players. They identify kid's they think will be receptive, or the ones that will come. Amir knows Bennett and visibly tried to get him to SJU. If he were interested, SJU fans would have known a Looong time ago. I have no doubt it was pitched, and what Moose says, he doesn't fabricate. Bennett fancies himself a UK guy from what I've heard. Certainly a good player but we don't need kids that think they're bigger than the game itself ala Ledo, Bennett.

Lavin knows how to deal with these personalities better than I could even imagine doing. If there was a chance at Bennett, you can be 100% certain we didn't neglect to identify that option.
