SJU vs Pitt Game Thread

also this all started with dinkins saying something to me about my post are always negative . i never spoke to him prior to this or wrote him . i told him it was my opinion and if he dont like it to not answer but he stalked e with further messeges. then all of his fraternity brothers soon started to pile on me . please all i said was that we are not making the tourney and we will be in nit. posters disagreed with me and started bashing me saying i whinning but prior to dinkins saying something no one said anything to me he said something and the floodgates opened. ive been a st johns fan for 30 years and yes i get frustrated but ive also seen others say the same thing as i and not get bashed if you dont like the way i say st johns wont make the tourney ask me why i think that ill be happy to tell you but i refuse to be told what i should feel about my team they blew a golden opp with horrid play yesterday and i still believe this is not a tourny team . also i dont see nothing wrong with making the nit its better then nothing in my opinion and i also happen to think we will gain from going thank you and bless all my fellow fans

Dude, you just posted five consecutive messages that have NOTHING to do with the Pitt game. It's messing up the entire board for everyone. If you want to have a war with Dinkins, send him private messages.

Has anyone figured out what miguel's old handles used to be? This isn't a new incarnation of 'real fan', is it?

here they are now pile up on e unlike the pansys on here im a grown man ill take it. lets put it this way villanova just played themselves in they stepped up we on the otherhand played like drunks . this team is overated by this board harrison is overated sampson taking 23 feet fadeaways. bourgualt lol misses more open threes then lebron. with all that said i still think they had a good season just not buying the tourney talk sue me.

i do and also let me state i dont believe they will make it but i will be in front of y t.v rooting for them to win the last three and if they do ill be happy to eat my own words on this board i wont hide . ive been with this team for thirty years if i only wanted to be around in the good times i would have abandon them a long time ago. im with this team till the very end good or bad
 
It was a rhetorical question. I think (or at least hope) you get where I am coming from. Suggest you guys read the "has it come down to this" thread. We are all rooting for the same team.

Hey, fella! Let sleeping dogs lie. But since you wanna run your mouth for no apparent reason.... I wasn't the first person to respond to your post. I ended up responding when you continued to type in all CAPS. Then, I made response to you because you decided to call someone a "moron," if they thought the game was close under 5 minutes. Stalked you? Get serious!

I'm not a pied-piper. I do not have any power to make other posters dance to what I say. People could clearly see what you were doing. Frankly, it's the same mess you're now spewing. You're attempting to antagonize (re: your response to Beast of the East). You're also spamming the board.

Good point, Beast. If you have a problem with me, then deal with me per PM or in person. It's that simple.
 
Btw- amir garrett is no impact player. Seems like nice kid, but basketball skills at this level are average at best. He should concentrate on pitching. Play baseball for sju!
 
Miguel it is ok you have your opinion that we are NIT but you started saying that before the Louisville game started and you wont stop repeating it since then. Your opinion is fine I have no problem with you having an opinion like that but when we are all hopeful this team can make it to the tournament you saying we are NIT literally every other post starts to get old fast. I like that you said you will be happy to eat your words if your wrong because one post after PITT game I think you posted "NIT BABY". It just seemed like you were happy that we were going to the nit. But its not my place to question your fanhood as you said you have supported this team for a long time and want the same thing as everybody else. But to Joe3 and you with the doghouse comment, I think that is unfair to others on this board. I'll speak to it from my standpoint, Joes point is that he is posting things off of emotion and he is just being a realist. He says that people that just wanna see the bright side are not agreeing with what he is saying and dismissing him as annoying. Well I can not speak for others on this board, but for me it is not disagreement that annoys me, it is repetitive ness. I went to the PITT game, and on the train home I took out my phone to go on this site, and as I did I remember thinking, "Joe is probably angrily posting enraged thoughts right now". I just knew that it was coming from you because literally every game it is the same routine. Well every loss I should say. Joe, you are probably right when you say these things, although I refuse to believe it because I am just a young kid with all this optimism that never goes away until the season actually ends. Your rants are right sometimes, but from my point of view, it annoys me because I am just tired of seeing them so much. My suggestion, just cut down on posting, iust dont post everything that comes into your mind, maybe just a few of your thoughts and call it a night. That should cut down on people dismissing your posts as annoying or stupid, and overall help with the amount of respect you would receive on boards.

He plays very hard, and will mix it up with the big boys for rebounds. He's also a decent passer. He's (totally) left-hand dominant and doesn't have a jumper.

Hopefully, he's able to work on his game. I think he has potential (I guess you can say that about most of our players).

After we recruited Garrett I commented that he doesn't shoot very well and scores on rebounding on the weak side for Findlay H.S. The kid gives his all on the floor, not a bad sub for us.

Amir signed a multi-million dollar contract with the Reds and can't play collegiate baseball
